Had a very chill and relaxing time! Jeff was there to greet us and his wife gave us a tour! I’m in love with their Great Pyrenees. They had excellent hospitality and equally gave us our space. We had a huge fire in their pit and felt right at home!

Such an amazing campsite, and the host were more amazing! Faith based setting too which we were super grateful for. The host made sure we were taken care of with firewood, helping take out things by 4-wheeler to the campsite. They are outstanding!

Kind people, beautiful land. Be fully prepared for a small hike to and from your site - fitness required. Thankfully your stuff can be transported to and from your site 😅 Two single bathrooms allow you privacy and a great hot shower. Would definitely recommend.

quite unfortunately, my visit was impacted by hurricane Helene. I had to cancel at the last minute…which was unfortunate because I was looking forward to meeting these hosts and seeing their property. My communication with the hosts was excellent, both during normal preparations as well as when the forecast took a turn, and then worsened again. As I communicated at the time, I’m anxious to come back to York County for a visit.

Acts In Motion Sacred Ranch - Tents
We absolutely loved our time on this beautiful land. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and welcoming, willing to go out of their way to ensure a great stay. We towed our 18 ft travel trailer and hooked up to the 50 amp outlet available at the barn. They gave us a tour of the land, which is 7 acres of God’s country, complete with a creek running through the property. We had fires in the large fire pit and we’re wowed by the stars. Our daughter loved the trampoline and the tire swing and she couldn’t get enough of the sheep, chickens and puppies! We even took a ride on the incredible 500 ft zip line that runs the length of the property, over the creek and through the trees. So much fun! We highly recommend this place for a unique camping experience!

Gracious hosts Jeff & his wife, Perfect for tent camping, however I had a nice spot in my campervan near the barn under a starry sky with access to the woods. Priceless to hear the sheep baa through the evening and rooster crow at dawn.

We had a wonderful time enjoyed the fresh eggs. Plus all the animals. Would go there again for sure Jeff the host and wife were very nice 👣🏕

The campsites were very nice, shaded with lots of trees. The kids liked the animals and zip line! The Chapel access (for bathrooms and kitchen/snacks) is a nice bonus but not always open. Recommend earplugs for sleeping due to noise from dogs, rooster, and road noise.

This camp site was truly a blessing. The couple that runs it are extremely nice. They assisted us with our load to and from the camp site. The animals were amazing and so sweet. At night there are solar lights that encompass the camp site that are both beautiful and helpful. The site itself was tranquil and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back multiple times a year!

We LOVED camping at Acts in Motion Sacred Ranch! We played with the sheep, dogs & chickens. It is all fully fenced in so the kids could explore and be called back for dinner. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Right outside of Charlotte.

The place is quiet, super safe and kids friendly. The owners are very sweet. The pet dogs Sesh and Ester adds to the charm along with the Chicken, Goats and Sheeps. The bathroom in the Chapel is clean and spacious. We are definitely returning to this beautiful site soon in Spring. The best option for “primitive camping” beginners.

We loved camping with our RV on Jeff and Alina’s farm! We’d definitely rate them as Super Hosts :). One night they served up homemade chicken vegetable soup that was super delicious. The bathrooms were clean and a great change from our tiny camper shower. As we drove up, the 2 big white Fluffy dogs, Esther and Shay greeted us. My mom’s name was Esther and so I immediately knew we were going to be best friends. Our granddaughter, Claire was so excited got to name one of the little twin lambs Molly, after her best friend. The twin sister was already named Mimi. 💞. Their mom, Penelope was very curious and loved orange peels. My husband and I enjoyed watching the flock of sheep during our 10 day getaway from Charlotte and we learned some great lessons from them. The Grandkids spent a lot of time petting the sheep, especially Samson the daddy, who is so friendly! And then our grandson named Max, found the big fluffy cat named Max. The campfires were a big hit for all of us. We took some hikes in the back pasture, where the free range chickens scratch around. There’s open space for football and kickball games, and on rainy days we took advantage of crafting in the chapel. Having WiFi that works awesome in the chapel was also a plus for us. We highly recommend you check this place out!

What an INCREDIBLY lovely place to camp and relax. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for a tent, two sleeping hammocks, our camp-kitchen and more. The kids were able to run around and play... Enjoying the woods and outdoors. There are two LOVELY working farm dogs on the property that were just the most gentle sweet babes, we also enjoyed the free roaming sheep, and watching the free-range chickens wander the land. The campsites are really well spaced out. Each site has a really nice firepit with some natural wooden stools around the pit. Also, the hosts are some of the kindest, friendliest people you can ever hope to meet. We LOVED camping here and cannot wait to come back.

A fusion of car camping and primitive experience. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. You can choose your own experience. Camp a short walk from your car. There are facilities for restrooms, showers, coffee, snacks, etc. You can also choose to forgo any of that and remain in your camp site and be strictly primitive if you prefer. There are a variety of sites to choose from. Open fields and wooded areas. The sites can support multiple hammock hangers as well as tents of any size. Each site has stumps to sit on as well as a fire pit. There are goats, chickens, and snugly friendly dogs. They have firewood to buy but you can also scavenge for fallen wood if you want. The hosts make a great effort to make sure you enjoy your stay. They are wonderful people. This is a great site for a family or group of friends that have a variety of preferences or needs. We cant wait to return.
