Place was easy to find and we were the only campers there. We chose a nice secluded spot up the hill and that was nice. The pictures on the website are from 2021 and very dated. The things my girls were looking forward to seeing weren’t there anymore. The swimming hole and creek did not look pristine and not healthy to swim in and I have lots of creek, lake and swimming hole experience. The composting outhouses were convenient, but could use a good bug and spider sweep. The site states there was a shower to use, but I never saw that anywhere. I had to ask for a water hose to fill up my water container ( site says that potable water and spigots are available), but I was looked at like at had 5 heads when I asked and was handed a miracle grow nozzle to use. I used the water only setting, but the water was still a little yellow and my girls and I just used our life straws to drink it with. We ended up leaving a day early because my oldest said she wasn’t feeling well and my youngest was upset about not being able to swim. It wasn’t terrible, just not what was advertised. It looks like larger groups have better luck with amenities. It’s a very pretty place that just looks like it use a good cleanup.

I booked the beautiful Creek house very last minute and he went above and beyond to accommodate.
The space is indescribably comforting and peaceful, I fell asleep every night listening to the creek flowing under the cabin and leaves falling on the roof.
You can tell Damon's hands and heart have crafted something amazing here the moment you pull in, I can't wait to come back soon when I have more playtime to truly enjoy the haven he has created here!

Another great trip to the Creekhouse! This is our kids favorite place and they talked about it nonstop since our first visit, so we had to return. We can’t wait to come back again soon, Damon is a great host. This place is magical. So glad we discovered it through hipcamp

We had the whole camp to ourselves which was so nice. It was quiet and there was a fun creek for the kids to play in. Some of the bathrooms could use some more upkeep but other than that we had a great stay and Damon was very nice!

The Creekhouse
This was such a delightful place to stay, and we're already making plans to come back. The Creekhouse is the perfect blend of roughing it with access to basic amenities. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the property, and I appreciated the quiet freedom to let them roam. Damon is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. When the temperature dropped suddenly, he made sure we had heaters and warm blankets for sleeping, and we stayed cozy. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the creek directly below us.

Great place to camp. Super cool place super pretty inside! Everything was tidy and clean upon arrival and host was super nice making sure we had good kindling and wood for our fire! Would reccommend in cool and cold weather and can’t wait to come back in warmer weather for a different experience! The streams and plants/trees are beautiful!

I stayed a the Creekside Cabin and it was great! It was going to be really cold so Damon made sure we had everything we needed to stay warm. His hospitality was unmatched. We will be back!

Let me start by saying we still ended up having a good time overall and making the best of our stay! There are lots of positives to this location: the cabin felt spacious enough for 2 people and 2 dogs, the water in the shower was hot, pit toilets are kept clean, and there was plenty of fire wood provided. However - there a few things that seemed to be inconsistent with the listing that I wish were more transparent.
The images of the site are dated.
The shower is no longer attached to the cabin, but is instead center in camp with gaps that allow people to see in. While the shower was warm, we were only able to use it one day of our stay as the second day it was dismantled/all unhooked.
There is very little provided cookware. While the image shows lots of supplies, we were given only a dirty toaster oven and hot plate. We luckily brought our full camping tote - so we had silverware, plates, pots, etc. but if you were relying on things being provided, I would bring whatever you would need.
The cabin seems to not be unkept, and was full of spiders. A quick dust/power wash would have fixed this!
The last thing that didn’t sit well - was we had a left a few items by our campfire that were taken during our stay. While I understand this isn’t the hosts fault, when we reached out he was not helpful and instead replied with “I’m sure it’s there.” If you choose to book, I would make sure to bring all your items in each day and keep any valuables in your car.

We really enjoyed camping on Damon’s land, there was plenty of space for all our tents and hammocks! The layout is really cool, we were at rainbow point which was a little more secluded than some of the other spots. The kitty also came out to visit in the morning, which was really cool!

The Creekhouse
What a gem of a place to stay! Damon and his family's hospitality were top notch. The Creek house was a wonderful place to stay at, our kids had a great time playing in the creek and exploring the woods. We have a star put on the Creek House to stay at whenever we are in South Carolina to visit family. Thank you Damon for a wonderful experience, take care till we see you again

I loved camping at the 3 Creeks Nature Preserve. I won't tell you which is my favorite spot, but it has a creek...lol. The host, Damon, was nice, and excellent with communicating, gave a tour of the property and pointed out various camping spot options, checked in on us later to make sure all was good, and we hung out a bit and had some great conversation! My best hipcamp experience yet. His neighbors across the creek on the other property were a bit noisy through the night, but that was not within anyone's control nor was he aware they were doing night construction. EVEN with that, I am still going back. I'm already looking at my calendar to plan my next visit!

I highly recommend this camping site! It was extremely peaceful to hear the sound of the creek running nearby, the shower temperature and pressure was just right, Damon is a great host and super nice and helpful guy. My partner and I switched and stayed in one of the creek houses and it was the perfect experience, it reminded me of my childhood fantasy to have a tree house but with the safety of it not being in a tree hahaha. We will definitely be back!

Despite Hurricane Helene having come through less than a week before our stay, Damon welcomed us to Creekhouse cabin which survived the storm. The bed had clean linens and I absolutely loved the ambiance of the cabin and property. Very creative and artsy! The cabin had everything we needed. Two burner cook stove, toaster oven, basic cookware. Water available just outside. The outhouse and compost toilets very well constructed and environmentally conscious. No smell whatsoever! We enjoyed our stay!

Neat place to stay. The creek house is pretty much as it looks in the photo. Pretty well sealed from the outside. It rained while we were there and we stayed dry. Damon was super accommodating. 15-20 minutes or so from major restaurants/grocery stores.

We stayed at Damon’s land for the weekend. While it wasn’t exactly what we expected, Damon was very friendly and accommodating. The highlight for our kids was the swing, and although the swimming hole only had some water in it, they still enjoyed it.
Damon offered us two different spots to stay, and we chose a beautiful site up on the hill, surrounded by woods. It was spacious with plenty of trees, perfect for hanging hammocks. Being in nature, we did encounter quite a few spiders, but that’s to be expected. We weren’t right next to other campers, but we could see their tents, though we still had plenty of privacy and were not bothered by anyone.
The only downside was that our site didn’t have a fire pit grill for cooking, but luckily we brought our own. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re okay with sharing common areas with other campers. It would also be a great spot for someone new to tent camping.

Site 1 - Spring Creek Valley
Not your typical campground which is what we were wanting. Booked site 1 which is a small site right on the creek. . Our 6 person tents were too big for the site but made it work. The site does state for 6 people but probably two 2-3 person tents. One tent site was across the creek. Had to go up and down a small incline to get to the site. Parking was fairly close but not right at the site. Composite toliet was fairly close right by parking. There are several on the property. After talking with Damon probably should of book a general booking site then pick where we set-up. This was my first time booking with Hipcamp. Damon was a great host and very responsive.

We didn’t stay as long as we expected due to incoming storms. We stayed in the tiny creek house over the creek. The kids really liked the swimming hole to cool off in after we unpacked. They also liked Damon’s golf cart and being able to take turn riding it with other kids. We had intended to explore more the during the afternoon of our first full day, but left early.

The Sugar Shack is the Sweetest stay ever! Great Ac and in a very relaxing part of the property! The host is awesome and very accommodating! You have room to explore the stream which rides along his property line! It's magical here!

I loved staying at Damons place. The sugar shack has incredible a/c and very comfortable. The host is a true genius. He has built multiple structures on property or has many hammock tents. Flushing toilet on site and a fun chill spot. There is a rope swing for the kids or adults to play in the water!
