The 1980's onsite caravan with annex, with a campfire area with sweeping views over native vegetation, cropping land down to Lake Alexandrinia in the distance. Offering privacy and security. Or choose the clean and cosy Retro Camper. This 1980's Camper offers affordable accommodation for those wanting to experience an alternative style. Relocatable on the property with sweeping views near the house site or a quiet spot amongst the gum trees. You choose. Campfires are negotiable.

      Mallee Scrub under a shady tree.
      We loved our stay at Mallee Scrub and Daryl was very accomodating and friendly. We had 2 tents and a dog and the area was a perfect size for us. Very peaceful and secluded. Nice land to walk around during the day and a spot for a fire during the night. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay.

      Great spot to camp, either your own gear or the campers on site. Amazing views and wonderful hosts.

      Hartley Retro Camper.
      Bargain stay in a lovely spot!
      Beautiful landscape and wonderful revegetation. Daryl was very flexible and welcoming and we had a lovely time at the campervan. It is very private and quiet. It is also well equipped and a great easy alternative to tent camping. Our dog loved it too! Highly recommended.

      Mallee Scrub under a shady tree.
      Enjoyed our stay. Daryl was friendly and helpful. The area was nice and quiet with plenty of room to setup a small camp with a couple of cars. Plenty of firewood around and free to use.

      Hartley Retro Caravan
      It was such a fun experience staying in a caravan in the midst of a revegetation project. Daryl and his partner have been extra accomodating and friendly. Even offered to have a campfire going before our arrival and a hot cross bun on Easter morning as we headed out for a day trip. They showed us their beautiful garden, let us pick the biggest peach I've ever seen, and chatted to us about revegetation.
