Cost effective however the showers could not be used as they were full of bee’s and other amenities hadn’t been cleaned for a long while. Great location, but we were lucky to be self sufficient with our own toilet and shower.

Bush Retreat with potential
A Hipcamp that has a lot of potential, and perhaps it’s the off peak season, not sure, but we were not greeted or even checked up on throughout any time of our stay. The potential is great but the camp kitchen, toilets and showers look neglected. A lot of flies and bees, For the $15 pn, it’s a lof of value but if it’s advertised as amenities available but not fully operable then it disappoints. We love the welcoming entry to farm gate and all the artwork, as well as the beach access, the special thought with huts off the ground for swag/tent campers and location being close to Venus bay (beautiful). Thank you for opening your farm to people like us, we hope this helps as feedback for the future of this potentially EPIC hipcamp.

Great camping area on farm land
We camped over New Years so it was very busy, however we still managed to find a private spot away from the main camp kitchen area. Drop toilet was good enough, only one male and one female though for a huge camping area. Didn't use the shower. Nice little huts around the place for swag tents. Good location to explore the surrounding area.

What a great spot, the owners have put a lot of effort in to setting up a range of camping options on their property complete with bush kitchen and "bucket showers". Look, this is really in the bush, so if it's warm there's tonnes of bees and even more flys. We stayed one night to explore Talia beach (there's a nice shortcut from the property) and our son loved the novelty of the bucket shower (once it had cooled down and the flys left).

Great location. Don’t worry if you don’t have coverage on phone. Kristy has kindly set up a big sign board that you just won’t miss.

Swag huts are great, lots of space and the camp kitchen is rustic but very functional. Showers are fun but the toilets could do with some work. If people are particularly sensitive then Venus bay or port Kenny is 20 mins away.

Lovely bush camp. Even during the busy Christmas period we were able to find some space to ourselves. Great location as a home base to explore the EP beaches and stay out of the wind in the evenings.

Sites were much closer together than expected. There was only one kitchen tap for around 80-100 campers, which made for long lines. There aren't separate tour group areas, and one night we had a tour bus with around 20 people pull up and camp next to us. The place is OK, but not quite what the online description makes it out to be.

Plenty of options for a shady, flat site. Rough road to access, but just drive to the conditions. Bucket showers were a novelty, we used the hot water from the kitchen as the water from the bathroom wasn’t warm enough. Hosts put on a pig spit roast for New Years dinner which was lovely.

Peace and Quiet
We loved the peace and quiet of 4 nights bush camping at Coodlie Farm. Easy to find off the highway, plenty of space to have all the privacy you need. Hot bucket s showers were a great bonus too. Don’t go expecting 5 star - it’s a bush camp and it is exactly that. Thanks for having us!

Campsites are really well spaced, large and flat. Surrounded by bush on one side and beautiful surrounding pastures on the other. All camp facilities are very well maintained. Very close to Talia cave and amazing rock pools. Pip welcomed us so warmly - we loved our stay.

True outback style bush camping.
This looks like it has been a great spot in the past, however it is tied and run down. We didn't use any amenities as they looked old and smelt aweful. The road in is full of corrugations. Having said that the proximity to Talia caves was the attraction.

Great off grid camp with charm!
Off grid camp sites as it should be! Bucket shower block set up is awesome! Our little fella also loved seeing this relaxed way of living! Great camp kitchen set up, and turns out the swag huts are great for kids to play with toys for hours off the ground too!! Couldn’t ask for any more!! Thanks 👍

The owners were lovely and welcoming, however unfortunately the camp was disappointing. Amenities were not clean, bins were overflowing. The sites are extremely dry and dusty with minimal shady spots (however, land being so dry is understandable based on time of year).
Hipcamp is created with ❤️ and hope for our future.
