Unpowered Camping (no cars)
Such a great and easy place to camp. I was down for Gather Round and Belair National park was beautiful, comfy and accessible for all Adelaide had to offer of the big weekend. Would (and have!) definitely recommend staying here for entry level camping where having your phone charged and access to a shower is important 😉

Best base to explore Adelaide from.
Lovely staff and very well maintained facilities. Will be returning for our next Adelaide trip. Saw lots of kangaroos, ducks and even a few emu! Love being on the border of the Belair national park for a morning walk and a quick 20 minute drive into the city and surrounds.

Great location - well appointed
We rented a 7 metre wide birth which was listed as good for appropriate for tents. The sites themselves were set up well with new mats (no pegs allowed) and gravel that was firm but took pegs well next to it. The 7 metre site (maybe a bit of a stingy seven) was not great for tents - a bit narrow for guide ropes with the mat in the way. In hindsight there were plenty of unpowered sites more appropriate for tents or if power required a larger width site is recommended. It would’ve been nice if power was available for some of those grassed sites nearby. The park itself was superbly appointed and clean in parkland. There was a small tv room, small indoor kitchen with cooking facilities and a larger undercover camp kitchen next the to the central playground. The toilets and showers were clean and recently renovated. The staff were very helpful with all our queries and it was located a 20-25 minute shot from central Adelaide. There was some significant traffic noise at night from nearby roads but nothing that annoyed us. Would definitely return if coming to Adelaide again.

Really beautiful spot, facilities are great, really friendly helpful staff, the only negative is our camp neighbours were smoking at their camp-site, the smell of that was not pleasant.

Amazing campground with great facilities. Toilets and showers were super clean and the staff was lovely. Great location: The campground is about 20 min to the beach and 25 min to the city. Would highly recommend.
