Very clean and tidy. Toilets and hot showers. Undercover BBQ area. Nice and close to the store and the pub for a nice dinner. Very good rates. Also close to a new playground which good for the kids, also dog friendly.

Good spot
Very good clean facilities, good bloke that runs the place. The pub is across the road, flat concrete pads and plenty of spaces free. Good campground very nice

Mountain Views
Campground pleasant with mountain views. Bathroom block is basic but clean and airy with great hot showers. Area is nicely lawned and mowed. There is a great BBQ area with gas BBQ and Washing up sink. This area has a great table and chairs with nice bright lighting at night.
Very friendly and helpful onsite caretaker.

Great spot to camp, close to the pub and the shops, toilet block and showers , BBQ area. We were on a lads mountain bike weekend trip at some of the local parks and would stay here again.

Leisurely long weekend
We enjoyed our stay at the grounds as it was quiet, had great facilities and was well located near markets and town. We look forward to coming back.

Great for a couple of days.
It was basic but the caretaker was very helpful the amenities were clean and tidy its just that after 3 days not much else to do.
The pub and grub were excellent and we had some nice drives around the countryside.
Great spot to base yourself to have a look at the area.

A unique and memorable camping spot
Rathy Memorial Grounds are a unique place to set up camp for a few days. The facilities are basic but clean and the manager is very helpful. A great base for a trip around the Scenic Rim or drive down the Lions Road. The pub is just across the road for dinner.

Not ideal
Allowed to set up, then came back and told us we had to move, had constant mowing and wiper snipper for a day and half then ploughed the arena, had market setting up from 4.30am cars parking us in and pony club to boot. Not a peaceful restful stay at all.

A great spot but pick your weekend
Nice quiet spot on Friday, however a freshly dug trench and rain made for a mud obstacle. Saturday we left for a drive and found our site surrounded by horses and there droppings. Clean up after dogs but horses can dump outside your tent and there are no problems. They finally broke their seige around 1800 and we were able to move our car back closer to our tent.
Then being the 3rd Sunday the market stall holders rocked up at 0510hrs. They were reasonable quiet, however the rumble of a V8 diesel being the first one in and I am a light sleeper.
Now the positive comments,
Level sites, clean amenities and water pressure to die for. Awesome spot to enjoy and unwind. Pub a short work and meals were good (steak)
The markets supplied breakfast and coffee. Some found something to buy but we enjoyed the wandering the stalls.
Power available extra, bins available.
Highway quiet at night but motorcycles hoon through in the morning. Harleys seem to get louder every day.
