Property was beautiful, however, our caravan clipped a tree on the way in and was destroyed. Host was fantastic and put us up in their beautiful cabin on-site and was very helpful in trying to get caravan off tree.

Christmas Creek Camping Site Two
Camping with Cows &Freshwater Creek
We picked camp site two for our stay and it was great, a wide open space to enjoy with a river just down the embankment. The main swimming hole (you will need to walk over large stones and the creek has stone bedding - I only mention this because we have small dogs and had to carry them over them but it wasn't an issue) is roughly about 200m away from your camp. Overall it was beautiful, peaceful and even though we were near water didn't have any issues with mossies. Your hosts are welcoming and came to say hi the first day we arrived. Thank you for letting us stay with you, we will be back again!

Picturesque location which is fairly private. Nestled among the trees and right next to the creek - very peaceful! Would recommend this site for anyone who loves nature and is looking for a spot to camp not too far from Brisbane.

This is such an incredible camping spot! The creek is cool and marvellous and the property is well maintained. The owner is very fast to respond to questions, and the cows are incredibly friendly as well!

Incredibly gorgeous spot, beautiful creek a short walk from the campsite. We had such a pleasant time there, the owner was very lovely and the cows were so friendly!!

Loved this spot, beautiful clean campsite great swimming hole about 200m or so up the creek, picnic table and fire pit were a great. The well maintained track is 2WD accessible in dry conditions but a few little concreted creek crossings could require 4wd in the wet. Friendly cattle came up and said hi a few times so make sure if you bring your dog they are good with cows. Other campsites are over the creek or out of eye sight 100m or so away, very private spot! Will be back for sure, thank you to the host for sharing your incredible property!

Gorgeous spot. Site 1 very private. Site 2 about 200m down was more exposed to the road and other campers on another property on the opposite side of the creek

Natural Bushland Camping
Highly recommended, very private well shaded site (site 1) easy access to clear running creek to cool off, only a short stroll to stunning water holes deep enough for swimming.
Just be wary of inquisitive cows, I recommend not to leave food exposed.
March flies were excessive however I believe this would be the case in other sites that have cattle, just bring your repellents & all will be good.
I will definitely revisit this spot in 2023.

Only 2 sites available and Site 1 in our opinion was the best pick, mostly because it had access to more shade. Beautiful property with direct access to a clean and running creek. Fire pit provided. But the best part … a short stroll and you have access to a deep swimming hole. No swimming for us this time, but will be back again to try it out.

Christmas creek you gem!
This place was hands down 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone looking at needing some quiet time. Kerry the host was warm and welcoming coming and checking in before we settled down for the night. Had some lovely company from the very friendly herd of cattle. Campsite was cleanly presented with a fire pit and easy access to the beautiful creek a few steps away.

Christmas Creek ticks the boxes
This is a gem of a campsite that is right on the beautiful Christmas Creek close to the Stinson wreck walks. The site has plenty of room on grassy flat open ground that is accessed by a well maintained track, although some of the turns might be a bit tight for really big caravans (the description suggests 4wd for a reason). Directions are spot on and the landowner is super friendly, as are the resident cows that came for a visit while we were packing up. We highly recommend this site and will be back.
