Always great stay 700 Acres. Incredible hospitality, great views and easy to get by even if you don't have all the bells and whistles. Been back a couple times and will be back again no doubt.

Queen Glamping Bell Tent 1
Cozy Glamping
We did glamping. The bed and chairs are comfortable. There’s enough space inside the bell tent to move around. There are toilets, showers, and kitchen in the barn which is run by solar or generator (you might need to turn it on if not working). They have a big piece of land and our tent was situated a bit far so we had to drive which we don’t mind. It’s pretty quiet and relaxing. The closest town is Crow’s Nest which is 15 mins drive. The small pub offers great food. Overall, it was a great trip.

We had a great weekend here. Plenty of space to spread out, great amenities if you need them and a huge barn for shelter if the weather turns bad. The host Cate was welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend 700 Acres and we will definitely be back.

Peaceful new years away
Beautiful place well set out lots of space between sites our glamping tent was perfect! Clean tidy well kept and comfy everything you could ever want for a couple nights away. Facilities were clean and tidy and well kept and the owner was super friendly 10/10 will definitely head back there and I’ll be telling friends for sure!

Rural escape with dog!
Very private. Depending where you camp, it can be more remote where you need to be self sufficient. Lots of spots for larger groups too. Dog loved exploring and swimming in the creek. It was a very relaxing weekend escape. Bring mozzie coils & spray if you're staying near the creek area. Cate our host was very welcoming.

We loved camping at 700 Acres. We spent time walking the many tracks and exploring the sandstone cliffs. Our puppies especially enjoyed swimming in the creek not far from our campsite. We had a private campsite with loads of room!

Brilliant
This is an excellent camping area. It’s quiet and well kept. The host was welcoming and then let’s us get on with our setup. We will definitely stay here again.

Camping at the 700 acres was lovely. cate couldn’t have been more accommodating by providing us with a 2WD site.
The site were wasn’t close to other campers and we only saw others when they drove on the ring road that connected all the camps. The property was beatific to walk around

Great stay
Really enjoyed our stay over Easter, although not sure of the site. Sites were well spread out and private and facilities were clean.
Usual morons with low IQs getting bogged on tracks that clearly shouldn’t be used. They provided good entertainment on what not to do, and of course ruined it for others who were hoping to use the tracks when dry enough.

Camped down the back of the property next to the creek. Heaps of space and got the whole area to myself. Was met at the gate and shown to my spot. Very friendly hosts!

Wow we just spent Easter here. Beautiful spot and Cate the host was so lovely and helpful. Unfortunately due to the floods some of the tracks were closed but still managed a great time. Would recommend staying here. Although there were other campers you were so spread out that you did not even know they were there until you drove around the property.

Great spot if you’re self sufficien
Great site at 700 acres! We stayed at cottage creek and it was spacious private level and had great outlook. Cate is excellent and ver helpful. Our group of 10 with 2 camper trailers and a tent had tons of room and no trouble getting to our site. Will definitely go back to this one!

A very spacious site - and despite it being school holidays, we had the place to ourselves. It was a lovely weekend in the open Australian bush.

Open Views
Tent camp & bush walks with our dog
We (two campers plus supervising doggo camper) had an amazing time at 700 acres.
We camped at the third spot on the ridge which had amazing views both to the west for the sunset and to the east for the sunrise.
Cate was amazing as a host very nice to deal with and accommodating from start to end.
The property is massive and privacy is pretty much a given. There are plenty of great walks around the property all with different views. You do need a 4wd with reasonable clearance to access the ridge camps.
We had an amazing time just getting away from it all on 700 acres.
- Limited Vodafone reception (one to two bars most of the property), but remember that’s why we love getting away camping
- Enjoyable 4wd tracks to the camp
- Firewood available from fallen trees
- Good walks around the natural bush block

Love this place

Noddy’s Spot
Lovely place to stay in our tent in the picnic area. We are looking forward to going back and trying out the high spot next! Cate was super helpful and welcoming. We would definitely trust her advice on the best flat spots on the property for a tent. We loved how much space there was and so quiet. Easy drive for pub lunches to Crows Nest, Yarraman and Blackbutt.

Secluded weekend away
We stayed the long weekend at 700 acres, we had a beautiful private spot just to the right of the barn/toilets, our site overlooked a paddock with the mountains in the background was beautiful in the afternoon watching the storm roll in!
Cate is an amazing host, so accommodating and just an all round lovely lady.
We spent the weekend exploring the many views of the property and cant wait to come back!
And last but not least the barn was beautiful too! Would highly recommend for an event such as a wedding.

Open Views
Great site. Very remote, the drive up to the site was fun.
Crazy winds which made it dangerous for q fire, but thankfully died down at dusk and was able to enjoy one!
Host was great, showed us to the site and provided a good run down.
Certainly want to come again
Recommendation to bring ground sheets, as the area was very dusty

Lovely spot, plenty to explore. Very large campsites at least 100m from anyone else. Collect your own wood and great campfire areas. Cate was awesome
