Nestled in the mountains of Utuado, Puerto Rico, tucked into our valley, you will find the camp. Be awakened by the sunrise over the mountain tops, near and far. The creek and trails will be waiting, after you enjoy your morning Puerto Rican coffee and fresh bread. Puerto Rican meals and Evening Campfire available. 420medđ
We have many additional options to add to your campsite and experience here. Please see all the extras we have to offer. Reserve them with you date.
Utuado has so many great recreational outdoor activities ( See Photos). Rivers, waterfalls, beaches, flowers, culture and much more. We can give you ideas and directions for the things you might be interested in experiencing.
With only one campsite on the property, and the comfortably secluded surroundings, you will indulge in peace and beauty. Campers leave feeling refreshed and healthier than they arrived. The fresh air, the perfect sunshine and good quality mountain food feel great to consume.
You can enjoy the plentitude of animals here and surrounding the property. Both wild and domestic. If you're a bird watcher, this is like a natural sanctuary. Song birds sing all through the day, and the doves snore beautifully at night. Cranes, owls, hawks, humming birds, parrots, and many more I'm not familiar with visit all the time. We got farm ducks, and chickens too. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. NO large iguanas have been seen here. Small tree lizards is all we've ever seen here.
We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more.
Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase.
Exciting.Courage Creek campsite comes with a 8'x10' Coleman tent, 6' table, 2 chairs, bench, and bucket toilet (YOU USE IT, YOU CLEAN IT, AND TAKE YOUR BAGS WITH YOU!!!) included. Toilet upgrade available for rent (see extras). If you would rather use your own tent, please message me ASAP, so I can move our tent ahead of time (no discount for using your own tent, sorry). Make sure your tent is 9'x14' maximum.
Beautiful and exciting at the same time. Enjoy the area as you please (at your own risk). Not many neighbors, so come and have a fun time. Play your music and have a party if you want. Hike and explore the many trails with little chance of getting lost. Kayaks, and more available to rent. Camp on a raised 10âx16â level platform with a metal roof. Connected to the site is a permanent, 4'x4' walled off area for privacy. You will be comfortable and safe. Park right next to your site for convenient access. It's simple to get to the site and youâre less than 10 minutes from town. Calm and beautiful drive to get here.
Rent our gear OR bring your own gear. We have all our rentals available A La Cart. Simply, pick and pay for what you want here on HipCamp. Contact me with ANY Questions. Weâre here to help.
We have plenty of camping items available for rent. Prepay for what you know youâll need, and feel free to ask for more after you arrive and realize you needed something else.
We have 3 two man Kayaks for rent. $200 deposit (or valuable collateral) per kayak. $35 per day used. ID info required for main user of each boat (must at least have a drivers license). Life jackets included. Great for exploring our two near lakes. $30 drop off and pick up per kayak option available based on your vehicles capacity. See rentals for more info.
A lot more regularly used items for rent too. See rental list.
Trailers and large RVs can not park at our site. They won't fit and can't turn around to leave. Full size trucks and smaller vehicles are fine. Campers with an extended van have done it, but it wasn't easy.
If you have other requests weâve not considered please let us know. Weâll see what we can do for you.
