Unplug, unwind, and settle into the peaceful rhythm of our small, welcoming farm.- Tucked in the hollow of an Amish Community yet Just minutes from some of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Most Beloved destinations like the world renowned LONGWOOD GARDENS , Browse the shops in quaint Historic Kennett Square, WINTERTHUR MUSEUM AND THE BRANDYWINE MUSEUM. in Chadds Ford. Just up the hill is a local Vineyard WAYVINE for world class wine tastings and local entertainment. Or perhaps spend the day Kayaking or Canoeing on the OCTORORO Reservoir. Our place offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and nearby adventure . Escape to the charm of the countryside at our small working farm, where life is simple , air is fresh and friendly animals are always ready to greet you. Our flock of sweet wooly sheep and 4 gentle ponies will likely be the first to say hello-and if you're up for, they will happily take you for a carriage ride around the property. Every stay includes complimentary seasonal fruit and produce you can pick yourself from the garden. ripe tomatoes, crisp greens or whatever Nature's offering that week. as well as fresh eggs collected daily from our happy hens. You'll have access to laundry area for longer stays, fire pit and when available perhaps a room with a private bath if you'd like a little extra comfort We'd love to share this peaceful piece of the world with you. This property is located in an Amish community. Although we are not amish we are surrounded by working farms in the traditional methods. Horse and bugggies abound . and we offer open air carriage drives around the scenic neighborhood. Our neighbors provide fresh seasonal foods and dairy as well as complimentary produce onsite. Canoeing and kayaking nearby. Wonderful winery with tasting room and entertainment just a walk up the hill.

We loved our stay! Anne was very welcoming and helpful. The property is in a rural farming community, yet only 20 minutes to Kennett Square or Longwood Gardens. It’s very relaxing and quiet. Anne has a mudroom on her house that we were able to use that has a bathroom and sink. While the spot is in a carriage house driveway (we were also offered an option a little further away in a field), you still have a good sense of privacy. Anne left eggs and some veggies on our doorstep the first day. The entire trip was great and we’d definitely return. Anne is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you are happy.

This camp site was great! Bathroom in their home was close by, as was prepared firewood. Chickens and horses greeted us in the morning, which was a great surprise! It was a nice, quiet spot. Would recommend!

A little Amish vacation

Great spot! Tom and Anne are incredibly sweet hosts, and my dog Charlie and I really loved the site. We ended up staying at the RV site, which is a little further from the house and is enclosed by a gate, which allowed me to let Charlie run free. Very cool to hang out with the goats, cows, sheep, and chickens and watch the Amish buggies roll by.

Had a really lovely visit at Sweetdale. It’s nestled in Amish farm country, surrounded by natural beauty and all around good vibes. The actual sight is extremely lovely as Anne has spent a lot of time beautifully landscaping their property. Anne and Tom were extremely hospitable and accommodating. The closeness of the bathroom to the campsite was a real bonus. I hated to leave and would highly recommend. PS some wonderful botanical gardens (Winterthur and Longwood) are within 30 minutes.

This was my first time using HipCamp and it was great! Anne was so kind and welcoming, the animals were all adorable, and it was such a beautiful landscape to wake up to!

My wife and I found this place to be a very peaceful place to stay with great views. It was a delight to observe the wildlife as well as the Amish road traffic. The host was kind enough to provide us with a mason jar so my wife could pick fresh flowers for our camping area.

We did a quick overnight camp and really enjoyed it. Anne went out of her way to help us have a great time. Great stargazing and even a Starlink parade. Some friends who live nearby joined us around the campfire late into the night. Later we were serenaded to sleep by the duck farm 1/4 mile down the road. Sounds obnoxious but it was actually kind of cool. It’s better than the normal frogs and crickets.

We love Anne’s farm. We’ve stayed there twice already and fear we look like stalkers. LOL. The second visit was just as peaceful and magical as the first. We love hearing the horses clip-clop, pulling Amish buggies on the surrounding country roads. Anne’s ponies, sheep, and chickens are all welcoming, as is her sweet dog. And as if that’s not enough, there’s a nice winery just up the hill. Thank you, Anne and Tom, for being such wonderful hosts!

What a gem! Anne’s farm is the perfect escape, quietly tucked away in Amish country. Anne, Tom, and Spanky are the ultimate hosts, making us feel so welcome that we can’t wait to return. We’re so glad we had the opportunity to stay here. Thanks, Anne, for sharing your beautiful land with us.

Excellent experience. Highly recommend. My family of 4 had a lovely time. Our site was well situated and the scene was lovely. Anne was very accommodating. The farm was the perfect place for us. We had everything we needed. Thank you to all who made our camp a memorable experience.
