Our little piece of heaven away from the city located 40 miles NE from Pittsburgh, PA is the perfect place to relax & unwind in a serene environment. Campers are free to roam the woods and enjoy the beauty of the forest and pond views. Local wildlife includes deer, geese, turkeys, squirrels, hawks and more. Hike, enjoy the sounds of nature, stargaze, or rest and relax in a hammock. No hunting on property, but fishing allowed. Please keep fires in fire-pit and noise levels low. Campers can also enjoy biking/kayaking/canoeing/paddling at near by lakes/trails. NOTE: *No Locals who reside within 15 miles radius of the zip code 15618 please* All guests must sign a liability waiver prior to check in.Set up your tent in our magical Lightning Bug Field and have access to your fire ring. This camp is 5 minutes walk from the main house and you will have complete privacy. A quiet escape from the city

Serenity Acres Lightning Bug Field

Tim and Lana are warm and caring hosts! Their instructions were easy to follow and the site is a great escape from Pittsburgh. It's quiet and the tent site is in an open field that's perfect for star gazing. Tim and Lana went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, whether it was bringing us firewood and a fire pit or letting us explore their ponds, woods, and livestock. We'll definitely be back!
