Great spot right on the river. Amazing, kind hosts. Tent is canvas and has two full bunkbeds with air mattresses in it as well as a wood-burning stove. Campfire set up and picnic table with a little counter space and cupboard attached came in handy. Would definitely love to come back again soon!

My wife, our dog, and I spent the weekend at this amazing campsite and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Nestled right in front of the river, the spot is truly a slice of paradise. Being surrounded by nature, waking up to the soothing sound of birds singing—it was nothing short of magical.
Despite the rain making the river rise and the water turn a bit muddy, it didn’t take away from how peaceful and refreshing the place felt. Richard and Mary were incredible hosts—so kind and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed, from plenty of firewood to fresh farm eggs that were absolutely delicious.
It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature at its best.

We had a very nice time, and the campsite was very secluded, although it was off a driveway. Richard was very nice and met us at the site with high quality fire wood and (almost) a dozen eggs.. The eggs were excellent! Very minimalist setup, which we were expecting and enjoy, and RIGHT on the river. Super quiet, lots of stars, beautiful views. However, at $125/night, things just needed a little attention/to be given a once-over before hosting guests. There was no toilet paper and the toilet tent was in bad shape and door did not fully zip, battery-operated lights in both the tent and toilet tent did not work, the stove was so filled with ash and debris that it was hard to get a log lit and there was nothing provided to clean it out, one air mattress had a hole, the hammock was super mildewy, etc. None of these things were trip ruiners at all, but had they been addressed prior to our arrival, I’d be writing a rave review and we’d definitely be back.

What a lovely little piece of paradise along the Delaware river. Richard was kind & helpful during our stay, and the site was just gorgeous. Beautiful fall colors along the river. The nights were a bit chilly while we were there, but the wood stove kept us cozy. We used this site as our accommodations for a black tie wedding in the area, so we really put the "glam" in Glamping!

This campsite is great, right besides the river. I tried fishing for awhile, but caught nothing. Almost landed 1 fish, but that's about it. BUT while fishing, I saw a 3 feet long fish swimming upstream right in front of me. So.. there are crazy fish here, I'm probably just not skilled enough.

We loved staying at this HipCamp site! Richard was so helpful and went above and beyond to be accommodating with providing a few items that we had forgotten. The site was very private and incredibly scenic. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it all!

Absolutely love this place. The river was very high from the rain and we couldn’t swim, but we still had an incredible time. The location gets the perfect amount of sun and shade and the breeze is perfect for a summer day. The property is full of beautiful old growth trees and the fruit orchard looks like a painting. Richard was very nice and helpful. Also, the quality of the firewood was exceptional. Most places over charge for very poor firewood, but that was not the case here. We will definitely be staying here many times in the future.

This land was the definition of tranquility. We celebrated ten years of marriage and can say it was the best trip, truly all our souls needed.
Richard and Mary were such wonderful host. We highly recommend this space, you will not regret it.

Great secluded site with access to the river. It was an extremely peaceful and beautiful setting. Tying off some floats and relaxing in the water was amazing on the hot and humid days. Richard was a great host, very kind, helpful and responsive to our questions. There were a few places to eat and shop close by which was great considering the amount of rain we had during our stay. Even with all the rain, the property didn’t become overly wet/muddy. Will definitely visit again!

Thank you, Richard and Mary, for hosting us. We had an amazing time bonding over the campfire and meals while enjoying the spectacular view of the Delaware. We had an amazing time swimming in the river, fishing (my sons caught quite a few small mouth bass). The dogs loved the area to play around in. The campsite is not the most secluded as it off a driveway but cars are far and few between. It was a lovely long weekend away from the hustle and bustle we are used to. We bought 2 barrels of firewood which lasted us the whole trip...none left over thought :). Definitely recommend this site. Thank you, again for allowing us to make memories.

The drive out of the traffic via the Holland Tunnel on a Friday afternoon in the summer, added to the anticipation and hopes that the camp site on the River would live up to reviews that were given.
It did not disappoint. Everything menioned on Hipcamp site was true. Richard guided us Tmdown the path to the site unveiled a beautiful view of the cavas tent, firepit, hammock and the impressive Delaware River.
The first night we were fortunate to witness a full moon on the river. The teip only got better with the swimming and fishing. Needless to say we will be back.

What a special place! This was the perfect location right on the Delaware River with a beautiful tree cover to keep us cool on a hot weekend. We swam and floated the whole weekend. It was also close to great breweries and wineries where you can grab lunch. Richard was a wonderful host, and the site was well appointed and maintained. We would love to return soon!

You will love Richards place! Right on the water, comfortable bed and tent, portable toilet right behind the tent, his place is easy to find and Richard was very helpful in providing firewood for a small additional fee. My husband and I loved it and would highly recommend. Tip: go for a hike on Tekening Blue Trail. It was beautiful!

Richard’s site is absolutely incredible. A great secluded spot right in the river’s edge. The tent and sleeping arrangement was very useful (especially when the rain came down). I would definitely love to go back!

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it did not disappoint! The River camp was exceptional! Super private and an unbelievable location! We brought our dogs, paddled on the river, explored the small island upriver, and literallly witnessed a bald eagle pulling a large fish out of the river while we were drinking our morning coffee on the Adirondack seats! AMAZING! Richard and Mary are wonderful hosts and we’ll absolutely be back!

We had the most amazing stay! Richard and Mary are so kind and helpful they even offer wood and fresh egg at bargain price. The view of the river from the tent is spectacular and very peaceful to sleep too! Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing right from the river bank; We can not wait for our next visit!
