Northern Pocono's, close to many lakes and streams. Very close to Delaware River and on the Lackawaxen River. ATV trails close by D&H trail system for hiking and ATV's. Waterfalls are a nice walk down the road from the property. Fish hatchery close by and open for tours. Lots and lots of wild life! Tasty restaurants close by. Wooded and open area with stone parking area 50 ft from the river, on a very quiet dirt road. 68 acres along the river and a great fishing area. 35 mins from Scranton and 7 miles to the grocery store. Sit and relax by the stream and campfire. Just a short walk to the Pleasant Mount fish hatchery. Site was great and easy to get too. No service made it hard to communicate with host. A better description in finding the site would have been appreciated.

Pretty riverside.

Pretty riverside. Water is perfect depth for children or pets to walk around. Mostly quiet although you do get occasional vehicles going by. We did not have much contact with the host and the question we did have had a very short answer. We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding areas.

We had such a great trip! The site is lovely with tons of space and solitude. The creek is perfect and we actually met David who was so kind and thoughtful. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Awesome sight! I came after much rain so it didn’t look like the photos. Right on a road however only 2 cars passed. Get walk along the road to an old grist mill and visited the hatchery very cool.

River Side Camping

My family had a great time at the river side site. We had a 29 foot rv and 2 tents and everyone had a space to call there own. The kids loved the river and the waterfall nearby was a big hit. I would definitely recommend this site and we might even go back.

Rural Escape

Davids property was secluded, clean, and as described. The "river" was clean but more like a creek. It was directly off a dirt road with a gravel pad to park on. To our surprise there were little to no bugs. The sounds of the water were peaceful and the birds songs delightful. Because it was so tree covered it was cool and refreshing in comparison to the 90 degree weather we were experiencing. Overall it was nice and would consider staying again.
