Great location for us, as we were heading to the NASCAR Race! We lucked out and got a shady spot for the afternoon but in the morning not so much! Left early to the race anyway! Nice having the river right there also! The host was very helpful when we had any questions.

Camping here was nice, didn’t get there early enough for a river spot but still had a great time. They have an access path to the river for campers on directly on it.
They also had an awesome band playing by the pool free of charge to guest.

The other reviews give an accurate picture of what to expect. I appreciated the quick get away, proximity to water, bird song, and polite hosts. Would have been even better if I'd brought my kayak but maybe next time. I noticed a good amount of families and large friend groups and I think this spot is a great choice for that, especially on a long holiday weekend.

Super friendly staff. They hosted a lovely Memorial Day event, too!
Great location for exploring Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Stroudsburg. We journeyed here as a family with two RVs and had two sites. I think we all preferred the Pull thru site to hang out at. It does take folks a few tries to get their Rigs aligned and level. There is a nice dog area, highway noise wasn’t that impactful and we enjoyed our stay.
We would recommend it!

I loved the tent camping in this site, where you are next to the river with an awesome clean will organized place. I definitely recommend it and will do it again.

This campground was exactly as stated and pictured. Tent sites are located on the water which was really cool. The host was super nice and helpful. The portable toilets were the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere which was unexpected but truly appreciated. Thanks for the memories.

Gated community, each site was nice and flat, we needed a winter camping location and it was great that they are open all year round. Nice club house with shower, a few activities for the kids and laundry if needed.

The RV had everything me and my family of 4 needed! Queen bedroom and two bunk beds. Everything was very clean and organized. The host even started us off with some firewood. We ended up having hotdogs and nachos outside and cozied up indoors for game night afterward. It’s also really close to Blue Mountain, we had gone snowtubing that morning. Comfortable night stay. The location of the campground is close to the freeway so it doesn’t have that forest seclusion if you don’t mind. We had access to the clubhouse with public restrooms and showers and a game room with a pool table for $2 per play. it was a great experience!

There were so many issues. First no water in the bathroom (they said the pipes were frozen but they weren't) and no hot water (understandable in the winter but not fun), then when the hot water pipe thawed the bathroom sink and toilet flooded, which they fixed, but then it happened again and they stopped answering calls and emails. We had no toilet from 5PM to 11AM when my husband fixed it himself. The place was fine itself, but management should not be renting in the winter if they can't maintain livable accommodations.

I don’t want to mention how they truly help me out because I don’t want everyone asking them to do what they helped me with. The site was big, well tended and the other guess were very nice. Thank you for a great weekend.

Cute camping spot, friendly staff at the store with cute t shirts, snacks, water, firewood etc one stop shop. Clean facilities. Can hear the highway a little but no bother to us at all. Would absolutely stay again. Gorgeous views, pretty creek, spot comes with a Picnic bench and fire pit

This was advertised as a Hipcamp with seven sites. Exactly what we wanted. What we got was a year round campground that the highway noise was so bad that I thought I was sitting on it. This is also a year round campground so the people who”live” there make the place look like a junkyard. A ton of run down campers just sitting there looking like they were just falling apart and the WiFi was only available at the clubhouse. While the employees were lovely this place was not for us. Hard pass. I was under the impression Hipcamp was private land owners offering their land for use. This was a campground that I paid $190 for that we left a day early because we hated it so much

My friend and I are section hiking the Appalachian Trail and needed somewhere cheap near Lehigh Gap to crash for the night. The sites were situated right along the Pohopoco Creek…very pretty. The site had a fire ring, picnic table, and porta johns w/ an outdoor sink close by. The lady doing check-ins was super friendly and helpful. The only downside was the amount of goose poop…had to give the bottom of the tent a good spray down when I got home.

This is the best camp site I've ever been to. Right next to the creek which is exactly what we wanted. Anthony and the staff were just amazing and extremely accommodating. We will be back!

This is the dream place I’ve been looking for! The site is RIGHT NEXT to the creek with a truly amazing view right out of our tent! Anthony, his wife and the entire staff were so friendly and welcoming that we felt like we had hit the lottery for finding an amazing spot with a reasonable price and friendly people. We will absolutely be coming back!

We were welcomed by friendly staff who explained to us how to get to our site. The site was easy to back into with plenty of space. The location of the water and electricity hook-up vary per site, for our site it was on the right, while our RV had everything on the left. We just reached the electricity plug but the water hook-up was too far away to reach with our water hose, but that might also just be because our rental rv didn’t come with a very long water hose.
The facilities (shower and toilets) were good and close to our site. We had a good one-night stay!

The owners are friendly and easy to talk to. The Avenger camper was clean and everything worked properly. Bed is very hard but I actually slept pretty good on it. We had a campfire right outside the camper and roasted hot dogs. The camper has a cool built in Bluetooth speaker that has an inside and outside zone. Surprisingly it was very quiet on a Friday night at 9pm.

Staff were super helpful. It was a bit rocky at first given the new owners very taking over this location. Also, Hipcamp said there was potable water but the location didn’t have an area for this. They were still very helpful though and gave free water jugs to me. Campsite was good for the most part up on the hill with two dogs. Highway was very loud at that spot so I would recommend staying closer to the water. Seems like you can’t hear the traffic much closer to that area. Overall I would recommend. The new owners have some great ideas for furthering this place and making it better.

Good place to stay. right off the turnpike. The tent sites are not in the same area as the RVs, so if you head into the "park" area (past the gate), you're not in the right spot.
Sites have a picnic table. There are portajohns. The shower house building is a short walk away.

The facility is nice. Definitely can be crowded on a weekend, but the amenities are great. Theres a pool and a creek. Also a little clubhouse for some games, chilling, shower and bathroom. As far as other campers during my experience, some individuals didn’t respect the 11pm quiet hours and fireworks went off at 12am however we were unsure where it came from. Our dog was pretty scared during that experience but was chill throughout the rest of the time. Mainly be aware of other guests but the facilities services themselves are fine.

I loved our tent spot! Right near the beautiful creek! There was a little more traffic noise than I anticipated, but you pretty just tune it out & enjoy the surroundings. Any staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. The entire place is so clean. They deliver your firewood as needed. The little shop is super convenient as well. Portapotties and hand-wash station were a perfect addition near the tent camp!
We (my daughter, dogs & I) enjoyed our time at Pocono Point. Thanks y'all!

Amazing time camping. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Camp area was clean and really nice views of the creek and you can get in if you cam brave the chilly water. Swimming pool was a plus. Clean bathrooms and showers. Even laundry area! Buy their firewood! It's not expensive AND it comes with a good amount of wood! Grills are available to cook on as well. Nice little store to buy drinks and snacks, even some games. I'll be recommending this site to my friends and family.
