Learn more about this land: This is a nearly level site with a stoned area for a camper or vehicle. Dry camping only. Pack in and pack out. There is an area for setting up to two tents alongside of a camper. Maximum of six people on site. There is a fire ring. This site is excellent for stargazing. The site is cleared off, but the forest ends nearby and partially surrounds the site. In the summer, the fireflies are abundant and appear like fairy lights in the surrounding tree line. On clear nights the skies light up with stars. The property is located in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania amongst wildlife. At night, be prepared to hear coyotes, foxes, owls, and other creatures of the night. You will need to have lights for at night. No lights are nearby the site.

Starlight (Site #2 at PM Homestead)

Great stay near the pond!

Had a great stay with Bren and Chuck! Very friendly hosts. The site is within eyeshot of the house and barn, but everything was very dark and quiet at night, which I appreciated!
