Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Allen and the kids, and had such a pleasant experience. He drove out belongings and some of us down the the glamping site and was kind and welcoming. The tent was clean, comfortable and warm. We had all the firewood we needed, cooking supplies, composting toilet in the outhouse, water. My husband and I had a great time with our son and teenage nephews. Highly recommend the beautiful surrounding scenery of the lake and woods and wildlife. I didn’t get to meet Donna, but she is very friendly and communicative. Thank you for a great stay!

Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway
This glamping tent was PERFECT!!! Donna, Alan, and Tyrion 🐱 were perfect hosts. The heater in the tent was great for the colder nights and my puppy loved the land to sniff around. Very close to Rickette’s Glen state park and local to some cidery’s and winery’s. We even checked out a drive-in movie when we were there. If you’re looking to unplug and to have some privacy, this is perfect :)

🍁Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway is a lovely Hipcamp in Shickshinny, PA. Words can not adequately convey just how amazing this place is. 🏕️.
The serenity of the wind and trees, tranquility of the pond, the sight of the crackling campfire, sounds of birds chirping, roosters crowing, and critters scurrying about in the fallen leaves - and the calm of morning, with stillness sitting all around you. It is just so peaceful. Being in nature feeds your soul. We will absolutely be back! 🍂

we had the best weekend at paper mill pines. as people who don’t usually camp, we felt so safe, welcomed, and totally looked after. the hosts were incredible, so kind and genuine the entire time.
the site had everything we could have needed, even after overpacking. the coleman bundle was a must, the bluetooth speaker somehow lasted the whole trip, and the firewood supply never ended. the bathroom was spotless, and the 4x4 drive into the site made it feel like a real little adventure.
just a heads up for t-mobile users, there’s no service, so download your playlists ahead of time. our group of five left with full hearts, full stomachs, and so many good memories. can’t recommend this place enough

Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway
We had such a great experience camping here! The site itself was beautiful — peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. We camped with our two-year-old, and it couldn’t have been a better fit for our family. Everything we needed was right there, which made the whole trip so much easier with a little one. It really felt like the perfect balance of comfort and the outdoors. It’s not always easy to find a campsite that works so well for families with young children, but this one truly exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would absolutely recommend it to anyone, whether you’re camping with kids or just looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The campsite was well maintained and provided basic supplies. My favorite part was waking up in the morning to the gorgeous view of the pond and enjoying our morning tea next to the fire. The stay was very peaceful but there’s also lots of activities to do nearby.

Mine and my husband stay at paper mills pines glamping was great! Donna had everything set up perfectly for when we arrived. We loved the area as wells as the pond for fishing! I would definitely recommend.

Such a beautiful, peaceful glamping spot. This was our 2nd time visiting and were again so happy with everything...a great place to get away from it all!!! We enjoyed sitting by the fire, sharing stories, and making memories... and SMORES!!

I love the place very private,clean,affordable, convenient, in general.has it all the owner is great he help on whatever he can't. I use it as a get away and was suscefully. the only down is the is no service on any device but .that make the get away more valuable. Thanks I recommend it 💯

Donna and Allen were great host and I would highly recommend their campsite. Our family had so much fun relaxing and enjoying the sites of the town. Additionally the hosts were super kind to us and our children giving us a run down of what was fun to do in the area and letting my little ones help refill the potable water in the 4x4!!! The private site, private bathroom and beautiful scenery was the perfect getaway. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Such a beautiful getaway! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They supplied so much already on the site - water, cooking utensils, pans , wood, extra towels, battery powered fan, really they had everything you needed. They even checked on us to see if we needed more water. They’re very friendly and the property is gorgeous! We had a wonderful stay and went to the state park to hike which wasn’t far from the site. Totally will be coming back! Highly highly recommend!! 1000/10.

The property is beautiful. The pond with the lily pads was amazing. We had the best time. This was our first camping trip as a group. The accommodations were great. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Everything we needed was there for us. The only thing is bring lanterns and flashlights. It gets dark.

We loved our stay at Paper Mill Pines. Perfectly appointed and delightfully secluded spot. Donna was a great host and very accommodating. We traveled with our sons, 3 & 5, and they loved it!

We had a lovely, magical, rainy weekend here! The rain was no problem because there was plenty of space to hang out under cover. We had everything we could need and more which made the weekend go so smoothly and was stress free packing. We had no cell service, so we got to truly unplug and spend time together which was honestly great. We visited in early Summer and the fern growth makes for a spectacular view around the campsite. It is a easy, flat walk out to the campsite and the owners will help you move your stuff in/out with their 4x4. Our only regret is wishing we had brought our dog! 🙃

What an amazing glamping experience! Donna and Al were the best hosts. They accommodated everything from start to finish. An incredible and beautiful private spot. We highly recommend this for your camping experience. Everything was so clean and stocked. The lighting was also magical. They provide everything and then some. We had a fire with wood that was provided and also easily cooked our meals. Close to the spectacular Ricketts Glen also. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Beautiful campsite with everything you need. Plenty of wood was provided which is a huge plus. The pond is right next to it so you can fish all day and night without going far. Had a great time and will definitely be back.

We loved staying at Paper Mill Pines, the place is even better than the pictures, Donna thought of EVERYTHING! we showed up with our food and our clothes, everything else was provided, from kitchen utensils, blankets, endless amounts of firewood, clean outhouse, lights, etc etc! this was the true definition of glamping! And the hospitality was truly unmatched!! it was such a relaxing weekend!

It is such a beautiful spot! Nice and privately tucked away in the woods next to a quaint little pond. Lots of useful amenities for cooking and such. I had a blast.
