My friends and I had a great weekend camping with NEWE! Check in was a self check in style with the site preloaded with wood and water. The area was flat and had a few trees for shade, with great views of the farm and trees behind it! There is one spot for easy river access. We also did a rafting trip through NEWE which was fun and relaxing. The site was beautiful, clean, with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. Dan was a great host, we will definitely be back!

Another great trip in the books. Camp sites are tidy, facilities are clean, plenty of firewood and drinking water available. Rafting and kayaking conveniently available right from camp. Would recommend.

Place is perfect for a trip with family and or friends. Bathrooms were clean and very accessible. Buckets of water and firewood was provided daily.

Great campsite! Clean sites and facilities, firewood and water available and in great location. I've booked here multiple times and will continue to do so. Dan is easy to reach and very informative on the area and he also has rafting and kayaking available. Would recommend.

Dans campsite is very nice :) He was very responsive and helpful. Anything question we had he was super kind and would help instantly. The porta potty bathrooms were all very clean and always stocked with toilet paper. Even on a holiday weekend. The river access was easy to get to and very pretty. A surprise to us was fresh eggs when you get there. Unfortunately we didn’t get any because they’re first come first serve but it was cool to see they had that service! My group and I went rafting and that was great, there could be a tiny bit more warning signs on where to get off, there’s 1 warning sign and then you see another spot with maybe 3-4 signs and if you miss it your at the next camp site not to far away lol. I think he said we was going to put a small kayak there but forgot but we’re not picky people, not the end of the world. I would 100% recommend this site to others!

The location was very convenient for the activities we had planned. kayaking on the Del. The site was level, clean, easy to access. The facilities and attention were above and beyond. I've never had a host check in to see if I needed anything. Typically I have to track them down. this site was on top of it. If you needed it, they had it. I will be going back and I will recommend to others.

Nice riverside camping area

Our group had a great time camping here! Nice, level maintained grassy area for car camping with access down to the Delaware for kayaking and swimming. There was multiple camping areas within view in the main field area, but spots were far enough apart where it didn't feel too crowded. Porta-potties were well kept and the hosts provided us with clean potable water and firewood. Would definitely stay again!

Spent a couple days at HEWE with the family and Dan was a great host! Highly recommend this camping location, as it sits right along the Delaware at a great spot to enjoy all the river has to offer. Can’t wait to go back!

Site 4 - NEWE: Delaware River Campsite

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at NEWE campground! The campground was not overly crowded and there was plenty of privacy from the other campsites. River access is close by along with potable water. Dan was very generous by providing plenty of firewood and garbage bags for our two night stay. I highly recommend NEWE and we will be sure to book again. Thanks, Dan!

Site 4 - NEWE: Delaware River Campsite

Great place right by the river with a lot of activities to do on or nearby the campsite. Dan was cool and passed by our campsite one time to introduce himself and to let us know to call him if we needed anything. Very greatly appreciated. Large open fields where you could watch lots of wildlife do what they do and bonus points for being dogo friendly. Went while there was a couple of storms but didn't boder me and my friends one bit, still found things to do. All and all would highly recommend Dan's land as a go to spot for beginner to moderate campers alike.

Had a great weekend camping in Dan’s land, the site is beautiful and so spacious, the pictures don’t do justice. Portable potties were very clean and having a bonfire by the river was amazing. Will be coming back!

This campsite is absolutely beautiful! The wide open space with the proximity to the river is perfect cool off in the hot summer sun. We camp quite often and this site definitely sits up there as one of our favorites. The site host “Dan” was very welcoming and hospitable, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of. We will most certainly be coming back.

Overall, our camping experience was great. We had a fun rafting experience. Dan was also very accommodating as he shuttled us up to the launch point for the river and it was a convenience to get off at the landing point, which was right on camp. Definitely Recommend. A++

The tent camping here was beautiful! Plenty of space for a few tents. I had one big 8 person tent for my girl and her two dogs. Plenty of room for extra chairs, blankets whatever. Dan is a super cool guy. Set us up with water, trash can and firewood. Mountain View’s and the Delaware river literally right near the campsite! Will go again and I recommend it! Calicoon is a great little town 10 minutes away too

Unfortunately I was unable to attend but my aunt and her family still went and they absolutely loved it. Host was very nice and attentive, site was beautiful - I saw some great pictures. Definitely will have to book again and see for myself!
