Effortless and secluded camping on 12 magical wooded acres near the Upper Delaware River! Canvas tent site is perched in a secluded, private, and lush forested grove alongside a dramatic waterfall creek with countless bluestone ledges and knee-deep pools to explore. Just show up and relax. Enjoy a mile of trails on-site and tons of natural wonders to explore locally. Ask about river tubing, canoe/kayak rentals, guided fly fishing, and river shuttle. Comfort amenities include: outdoor shower with hot water, a clean and odor-free outhouse toilet, sink, drinking water, firewood, locking trash bins, and more. Less than five minute walk from the parking area (2-3 minutes on uphill sections, and 2 minutes on flat trail). We're open Seasonally: Every weekend July/Aug and on select weekends Sept/Oct and May/June. Amazing local activities: - Delaware River (tubing, boating, fly fishing, swimming) just 5 miles down the road. Nearest access points are Lordville and Buckingham - Bethel Woods Center for Performing Arts (20 miles) - Equinunk General Store stocked with provisions and Saturday smoked BBQ cookouts (3 miles) - Hike and explore local waterfalls and swimming holes (ask us for tips!) - Quaint river towns - Callicoon, Narrowsburg, Hancock, Honesdale (8-15 miles) - Several PA fish and game commission public access lakes for fishing and boating within 10 miles; +10,000 acres of State Game Lands Property access and host info: - Self check-in/out when we are not around (follow marked trail) - You may use the rugged garden cart that we provide to haul gear to your site. - The waterfall intensity ranges from a spring-fed trickle in the driest periods to a whitewater torrent after heavy rains or snow melt. - We live in a small off-grid cabin and converted school bus (Skoolie) camper on the property from ~June 23-Aug 30th. We may not be on-site other dates. - Split aged firewood for purchase is stored at your site. Pay as you go. Your first crate of wood is included. Please don’t cut standing trees. You’re welcome to forage for kindling. Camping with friends? This is currently the only site on the property but check out nearby Quilted Woods HipCamp for 3 additional bring your own tent sites where friends and family can stay.New in 2025! Less than a five minute walk uphill from the parking area along a well-marked trail. Perched along a babbling hemlock lined creek with dramatic waterfalls and bluestone ledges with countless refreshing pools, mossy rock ledges, and natural wonders to explore. The woods are filled with lush greenery during spring and summer months. A unique natural paradise that guests have called "enchanting." We love to share this special place with other nature lovers. Site Amenities: - Firewood (1st crate free, additional for purchase) stored at site (pay as you go) - Drinking water (full 5 gal. cooler) delivered to site (fill ups at sink as needed) - Fire pit with adjustable cooking grate - Picnic table - Rocket stove (for cooking or boiling water) - Propane torch firestarter - Hammock and straps (feel welcome to move it where you wish) - Metal storage locker to store your cookware, dry goods, cooler and gear - Airtight bucket ("bear bag") to hang food/garbage out of reach - Over a mile of marked trails to explore - Outdoor shower with hot water, outhouse toilet, and sink with clean water are located on the property (along the trail to camp) Optional "Glamp Me Up" Package - If you select this “Extra” fee item, we'll set up air beds, clean sheets, heavy duty wool blankets, pillows, and battery powered lantern before you arrive - Items such as cooler, propane burner, cookware available to borrow on request Logistics: - Trash: Place in locking bin by parking area - Rugged garden cart available for hauling gear up the trail - Gear shuttle: If we're home when you check-in we're happy to shuttle a load of your heavier items up to camp. A helpful courtesy, but not guaranteed. - Parking is not at the site. Park in driveway where marked. Walk ~5 mins uphill to site. There is one short steep section (2 to 3 minutes) that will get your heart pumping followed by flat ridge trail. - Guests agree to practice good black bear etiquette (please ask if you're unsure) This is the ONLY site on the property.
