Most lots have seasonally occupied park model homes and large campers. The host’s part-time residence is next door. The site is an open (no trees) level gravel pad with water, sewer and electric connections plus high speed WiFi. There are tall oak trees adjacent to the lot. The site has a fire ring and a picnic table. Big Bear campground is gated for security (you will be assigned a code) and has an outdoor pool (summer only), a playground and picnic pavilion, and walking trails. There is a community dumpster. Shopping, eateries, ice cream, pizza, a brewery-restaurant, groceries and laundry in Hawley are within a 7 minute (3 mile) drive. The Lake dam at sunset is popular. Walt’s Landing marina on Lake Wallenpaupack is within a 4 minute (1.5 mile) drive. The interior campground roads have speed bumps and an owner-enforced posted 5.5 mph speed limit. A leashed pet and a supplemental tent for those in your party are allowed. There are evening quiet hours. Other things to note 0.1 acre lot, full RV connection (water, sewer, electric, WiFi) on a level gravel pad, near other camper units. Fire ring and picnic table. Mobile home for rent with three bedrooms in beautiful forest-surrounded community near Lake Wallenpaupack, PA (8 min drive). Outdoor area has fire pit and deck for sitting out and enjoying fresh air. Great for family vacations! Open from May to Oct. for weekend ,week (or longer) rentals(vacation). Longer stays negotiable. Community has pool, children's playground, basketball court, area for fireworks, and mushroom picking (seasonal). Nearby attractions: fishing, kayaking, boating, boat tours, zoo, casinos (40 min driving distance), and hiking in nearby Delaware Water Gap. Those with a boat can store it on the property.
