We had a lovely time, the view is pretty. The bathroom and shower were nice and clean(water will take a few minutes to warm up don’t worry). Ground is pretty rocky so would definitely recommend having a hammer for stakes if tent camping. Each spot did have a picnic table and metal fire pit. We didn’t use any electric and if it were needed I assume there is a hookup closer to the bathrooms and would recommend setting up closer if electric is needed. Jim Thorpe wasn’t far and easily made it in town and also was easily able to get to AT trailhead for more beautiful sights.

Great campsite! Make sure you pitch on even ground, there’s a slight tilt to the property that you can avoid. Patricia’s space is great, the views of the mountains are gorgeous and it was easy to access from the road. Seven sirens brewing is right down the street as well, so you can stop by to grab some takeaways and chill around the campfire. She always provided wood complementary which let us enjoy the cool autumn night. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything was so perfect!! The space is spacious and has such a gorgeous view!! The sites are on a slant but we were tent camping so it really didn’t matter! The shower and bathroom were very nice and a close walk from our site! We will definitely be back!

Idyllic overlook!

Idyllic, peaceful, unique spot! There’s 5 or so spots lined up at the top of the hill overlooking the valley. Plenty of space in between. Each site has a picnic table and fire place. As some of the other reviews noted, there is a resort nearby that has live music which you can hear. We had our own music on quietly so it didn’t bother us too much. The host was friendly and responsive. Great visit, we’d definitely go back if we’re out that way again!

Amazing place, highly recommend! Very private, spacious, and with stunning views. There’s a shower, toilet, fire pit, and BBQ area, and you can run an extension cord if needed. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely time! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The view is beautiful, each campsite has lots of room, and helpful amenities like a full bathroom and firewood helped make our trip even better than we expected! The sites are on a bit of an incline and there really isn’t any shade, but neither of these things caused us any trouble so as long as you’re prepared for that you will have a great experience. We will absolutely be camping here again!

The setting at the farm is quite lovely, overlooking the gorge with a good view. We can't recommend it or go back due to several things: 1) the noise from the Sunny Rest Resort which is very close by. They had live bands both Friday and Saturday night that played until at least 1:00 am. 2) The property is basically a mess- junk everywhere. 3) The bathroom was not clean. 4) The listing says there is electrical and water. There is one extension cord but only if you stay in the site closest to the houses. There is also a hose there to fill water bins. 5) There were so many cars parked in the driveway that it was difficult to manage the camper through there- and we have a tiny camper of 13 feet. The place has tremendous potential, but right now it is a dump.

We had a good time at this hip camp, the site was right on a hillside overlooking the mountains. Heads up for anyone bringing a camper the entrance is steep & offcamber. The camp spot is on a significant slope so be prepared to level up. Also as stated water and electric are 200ft plus from the closest site. It is a close distance to Jim Thorpe, and Beltzville State Park. Host was communicative and responsive.

Stayed at Site 3 for 2 nights. Lovely property with great views no matter what site you have! Site 3 is the furthest site from the house (it was nice being on the end). It was flat enough for multiple tents with room to spare. Bathroom/shower/fire pit access was appreciated and each site is spacious.

Campsite Incline is too steep

Not bad, but not for everyone. Pros: nice views, decently private, some sites have fire pit, bathroom with toilet, shower and utility sink. Cons: - campsites sit on too steep an incline - listed as having electric and water for two sites, but it doesn’t not have electric at the site, but rather 200 hundred feet away, inside the bathroom only. Very misleading. Host ran an extension to the site for the camper that needed electric for heat, but this shouldn’t even be listed as a site amenity if it’s not on the site.

Beautiful view to wake up to

RV'd with a 25 ft tow trailer, entering was rough, experienced drivers only. Turns are tight until you get to back of property, which opens up to a gorgeous valley and view. - For rv'ers, bring a generator, one spot is close to an outlet. And bring an adapter. Getting into driveway is a bit of a challenge. And to come in and out of property, you'll have to rub along bushes to avoid a porch overhang, about 9 ft clearance (I'm 11' and had to turn very hard, but it's doable with a partner coaching you. Allendale travel plaze is about 15 minutes away and has a dump station for 5 bucks. - for tenters, terrain is sloped a bit with some level spots. There is a toilet and a shower with cold water only avail. Water hookup avail by hose to house. And one rv spot electric hookup with extention cords. Host greeted us and bid us farewell, and in between, gave us our privacy. Pool was heated. Sunrise among the hills was breathtaking and the evenings were perfect. Would absolutely stay again, gracious host generous, responsive, not over bearing. Thanks for the quiet weekend!

Josephine's Farm was beautiful. Great views! Nice to have a picnic table and fire pits. Must bring canopy for shade. The land definitely slopes so just be prepared. Def not far from the Sunny Rest Resort and you can hear them partying into the early hours of the morning

It is a great location and views. Loved the fresh eggs and access to a bathroom & shower. Picnic tables and fire pits were perfect. Would warn about the slope in the field. If it was filled w/ other families there's no divide for privacy

Our stay at the campsite was wonderful! Patricia, our host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, always prompt in responding to our questions. The campsite itself was beautiful, with a well-kept and easily accessible washroom. We also enjoyed using the shared grill area, which added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!

I had camped for July 4th weekend and it was a stunning site with great views! A lot more was provided for us than expected and because of that we were able to stay dry when it had rained and we were able to continue with our trip. Thank you Patricia for letting us camp on your site!

We loved the time we spent at Josephine’s Farm. Patricia is an excellent host, and made me feel like I was visiting a family member. PveryThis was by far the most unique and beautiful view of any campsite that I have ever camped at. The campfire is by far the biggest that I have seen, and is surrounded by a three to four foot tall pile of large rocks. She offers the use of her gas grill. -very pet friendly-
