Our family campground is open, now with over 130 sites and is currently being expanded, to add more deluxe back-in and pull-thru sites! Our campground and cabin rentals are available year-round and all of our RV sites are full hookup sites! Come and enjoy a getaway while enjoying our 63 acres, 10-acre lake, great fishing, playground, weekend activities, and kayaking/paddle boating! We have two state parks, both with lakes, only 15 minutes away.

All of our tent sites include water and electricity as well as a picnic table and fire pit. The pads for the tents are level and gravel/mulch. Each has a parking spot for at least one car. Our deluxe tent sites are larger and more private. They include water and electricity as well as a picnic table and fire pit. The pads for the tents are level and gravel/mulch. Each has a parking spot for at least one car. Pop-ups or RVs smaller than 20' are permitted in these sites; though recommended for tents only. The maximum capacity per tent site is six people. If you have more than six occupants, you would require purchasing a second site. Check-in: 1:00 PM / Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Our Rustic Cabins are the newest addition to Lakewood! Each of these one-room cabins includes a 6' porch, queen bed, kitchenette, dinette, futon, cable TV, WIFI, air conditioning, heat, outdoor picnic table, fire pit, and more! Note there is no restroom within the cabin, but our heated bathhouse is just a few short steps away. The bathhouse has individual bathrooms/showers. By default, you need to bring your own sheets, pillows, bathroom towels, and washcloths. Or for a cost of $20 per cabin per reservation, linens can be provided and beds made prior to your arrival. Rustic cabins can be booked 12 months in advance. Pets are not permitted within our cabins - approval may be given in advance for small pets that could be left within a kennel while inside the cabin - an additional cleaning fee would apply. Check-in: 2:00 PM / Check-out: 10:00 AM.

Our family cabins are set up to comfortably sleep six. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed. Bunk beds and a pullout sofa couch. Each cabin includes an 8' porch, living room space, kitchen (sink, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator), dining area, air conditioning, heat, Cable TV, bathroom with shower, outdoor picnic table, fire pit, and more! By default, you need to bring your own sheets, pillows, bathroom towels, and washcloths. Or for an additional cost, linens can be provided in the cabin, with the bed made prior to your arrival. See add-ons at check-out. Note: Kitchen flatware, dishware, glasses, pots/pans are not included. Please plan to bring your own. Pets are not permitted within our cabins - approval may be given in advance for small pets that could be left within a kennel while inside the cabin - an additional cleaning fee would apply. Enjoy our Luxury cabins for an evening or vacation of relaxation. Luxury cabins can only be booked online for dates up to 60 days from today. Visit the cabins page on our website to learn about booking beyond 60 days. Note: Cabin C06 is ADA accessible and includes an entry ramp, pedestal bathroom sink, mobile stool for the shower, and applicable grab bars. GUESTS IN 2023 INCLUDE COMPLIMENTARY PADDLE BOAT AND KAYAK RENTAL. I travel for work (pro dog trainer) and pups and I were looking for a nice layover spot. While this campground was certainly far more busy than our usual stops of state parks and family-run HipCamps, it was perfect for what we needed! I can't remember the amazingly nice lady's name at the office (her pup's name is Cooper!), I would for sure give her 10 stars. She switched us to a pull through when she saw it was only one night and gave us one that was exceedingly quiet and private. We even enjoyed 20 mins walks around the lake. I HIGHLY reccomend for layover. I don't know about the other activities or bath-houses, etc, but it was immaculately clean, quiet and easy.

I would absolutely recommend Lakewood Park to anyone! We have a travel van and we're with our parents who have a tent. We couldn't find two spots together so I requested the 38-ft spot for both of us. They agreed! It was a nice quiet campground. There was a nice walkable path around the pond/lake. The bath houses were the nicest I've seen. Plus they had evening activities such as bingo and hayrides. My parents had so much fun when we returned home they asked me the name of the campground so they could go again on their own.

Rustic Cabin

A lovely little spot among the trees. The cabin was nice and cozy and climate controlled. TV and wifi enabled us to stay connected but we could also unplug and sit out on the front porch to enjoy the surroundings. There was also a nice path around the lake and some neat history about the park. The cabin is quite close to a second cabin so just note that other guests may be in close proximity to you. We also did not realize that the "cooking equipment" that was advertised on the site did not include any dishes or utensils. Only a fridge, microwave and outdoor wood firepit and wood grill so we did have to purchase dishes for our stay after we arrived.

We stayed for a week in July and to our amazement our tent site had electric and water. Was right next to the showers/bathroom/ laundry room!!! Yes a laundry room. Giving the chance we will definitely come back and definitely recommend
