Peter was great and so accommodating! The site was large and felt like we were in the middle of the woods. We headed to Marsh Creek to walk the trails, enjoy the playground (which is good for all ages), play in the sand, and have a picnic lunch overlooking the water. It was about a 15 minute drive and a fun day for the kids before heading back to camp.
The site itself was surrounded by trees so even if someone were staying at another one of Peter’s sites, it would have felt secluded and like we had our own space. The toilet was clean and extremely close (20 steps) but positioned in a way that it didn’t feel in the way at all.
We’d definitely go back!

I really enjoyed tent camping on Peter's farm. We had a lot of space, good accommodations like a clean porta potty nearby and a water source within walking distance, the outdoor shower was conveniently next to the water supply, and there were a lot of cute goats and ducks and chickens around us. I'm also happy we got to try the dairy farms products, which were delicious.
We camped as a group of seven and brought along two dogs; one big, one small. The location is also close to lakes and hiking. Peter is very friendly and accommodating, quick to respond, and I would definitely recommend this space.

We really enjoyed tent camping on Pete's land. This was a peaceful well maintained campsite which provided plenty of privacy. This is a farm, so be ready for lots of animals and everything that comes with them. Pete was great to work with and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Pros.
Goats, Goats and more Goats. Our daughter could not get enough. Big area to sprawl out and relax. There is a shower. It is secluded relatively speaking. Peter is very nice and so are his helpers Josh and Carla. There is a portable toilet and you would not know it by the looks but it very clean inside.
Cons.
Not the easiest to drive in and out of. Was not sure which site we were getting so no real description. The entire site we stayed at was extremely saturated. Pretty badly actually. That was a disappointment especially considering there seemed to be a higher spot that was not offered to us that was clear and dry and would have been much easier to get in and out of. Still a little confused about that. The shower is there but there is zero privacy considered and I mean zero. There could be a few make-shift walls put in place but literally you are in the open right next to the water source and milk barn where there is constant action. A little strange honestly. And I will say I thought the water was just warm enough but my wife thought it was too cold. But I'll leave that up to personal judgment.
All in all everyone was very nice and respectful and we definitely got to relax and unwind which was the ultimate goal. The animals were awesome including his dog Lucy and the kitty. We did buy some fresh goat products at their small stand and they were great. We would think about going back if we knew which site we were getting and a few of the above items were addressed.

My second time on Peter’s land this season, and it’s been a joy each time! The large campsite is tucked away and feels private, the portapotty is close and clean, and the animals are so sweet! And the goat cheese Peter makes is incredible and made our campfire cooked omelettes even more special!

We had a lovely stay at Pete’s campsite. The main site was spacious and had plenty of room for my family and my friends. We brought the kids who had a lot of fun meeting the goats. The bathroom was clean and located directly next to the campsite.

Pete is one of the loveliest humans I have ever met. It was a pleasure dealing with him.
The farm is so calm amd peaceful, and we loved our private sites.
The sounds of the animals were so amazing!!
The outdoor beach style shower was divine.
We had a really clean porta potty!!!
There is another one up near the shower.
I recommend camping here!

Peter’s farm is a piece of heaven. We had such a wonderful time camping, exploring the farm, the kids helped feed the baby goats and the outdoor shower is top notch. Thank you Peter for your hospitality and for the beautiful goat cheese ❤️

Our family really loved the farm! This was our family's first camping experience, so it was a perfect spot. The kids loved wandering the farm and checking out all the animals. The actual camping spot was quiet, shaded, and felt very private. The restroom was clean. The location is convenient to Philly. Would love to return at some point. Thanks, Pete!

We had a blast at Peter's farm. The site was perfect for our group of 7. We were stuck with some rain, but Peter laid down fresh wood chips for us and we were able to stay comfortable and dry. There were several tables and a few extra chairs which we also appreciated. Peter was communicative and responsive to any questions. We loved being able to walk around and see all the animals on the farm. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks, Pete!

Absolutely amazing. Everyone we talked to was so nice. The land is beautiful, and really gives you more of a real camping experience. Fresh goat milk and cheese made at the farm! Just an overall amazing experience, camping site is pretty big for its price especially so, as well as it being pretty secluded so there are no worries of loud neighbors. If we are ever in the area again I will definitely be back! :)

Peter was extremely welcoming and accommodating when we arrived. The campsite was quite spacious, clean, had lots of amenities like firewood tables chairs and benches, and even a trash can. The campsite was also a 30 second walk from the porta potty which was quite relieving ;) Peters farm overall was gorgeous and he has some of the nicest goats I have ever met. We will surely be returning. We bought a bunch of goat products at the farm store, and our favorites are the goat caramel and the goat feta.

Camping was great -- lots of stars when the sky is clear. Animals are a nice distance from the site: about a football field walk. I expected bugs to be a much bigger problem, with the proximity to farm animals, but there weren't many. The shower is right outside the barn!
Owner prepared a nice grill top for us, it was very nice and thoughtful. Trash is handled on site too!

Peter was very friendly and made us feeling welcome. The campsite spot was shady, roomy and comfortable and it was nice that there was a fire pit, tables, some chairs and a cooking grate already set up for us. We definitely took advantage of the little farm store to load up on cheese!
His puppies are a little bit loud at night, which might keep you up if you're a light sleeper. But we loved hearing the goats and other farm animals throughout the day!

This campground was truly an experience. Our host was incredibly polite and accommodating. Our campsite was very well maintained and tucked far back enough to feel like we had our own slice of the surrounding woods. Kids (and adults alike) enjoyed seeing all the adorable goats, chickens, dogs, and other farm animals. Best part was only being an hour away from Philadelphia and about 20-25 minutes from a number of State parks to go hiking. This will definitely not be the last time I visit this farm. 10/10

Great hosts and a lovely large and private campsite with a fire pit, tables and chairs. The animals are really cute and interesting, although they do make a lot of noise. The portapotty is rustic, bring your own hand sanitizier and flashlight.

Absolutely the best way I could have spent my weekend. The campsite was perfectly spotless with a lot of seating, the portapotties were spotless, and Peter's friendliness and friendly approach made this a memorable trip, that I cannot wait to do again.

We had an amazing time at Peter’s farm. Our stay exceeded my expectations. Peter was very friendly and laid back. The animals were all so kind. Our 3 year old adored the sweet pigs, goats, and chickens. The campsite was perfect and there was an abundance of wood available to keep our fire going for the entire weekend. The outside shower made our relaxing weekend complete. You have to try Peter’s goat cheese - it’s the best we’ve ever had. We felt compelled to being extra cheese home with us to share with our friends. We will certainly be back to visit again soon.

Pete is a great host. He is accomodating and not overbearing. Firewood stacks were more than average. Kids had a great time playing around the farm and seeing the animals.

Peter's farm had a variety of ups and downs
Pro's:
-beautiful
-hammock and chairs overlooking the animal pens
-surprisingly little odor
-firewood already at campsite
-host had added a woodchip-base for our tent that morning, which improved temperature and moisture during the night
-table and benches at site
cons
-it was not a drive up site and the car was not able to be at site with us, we were told the listing was amended after our booking
-many medium sized rocks at site that we were tripping on throughout our stay

We had a wonderful time staying at Shellbark Hollow Farm. The site was easily big enough for our needs and Peter very kindly provided a metal fire pit with a grilling rack. We bought some pork sausages from Peter and had a wonderful meal. Our toddler (20 months) enjoyed seeing the goats and the pigs and playing with the cat. We went hiking in French Creek State Park and the Crow's Nest Preserve. All in all, we would definitely recommend the farm and we'll surely return at some point.

Peter was a great host and helped me with everything I needed. The experience was great as my group were able to see the barn and the hand milk the goats ourselves! There were many animals on the farm. Many approach you by the fence when you walk by them, giving you a personal greeting.
The site was big enough for our group of 4. It poured rain on our second day, so I had set up our rainfly on the go. Overall, it was a good experience. I highly recommend checking out the barn full of animals! Animals were great to see!

The pros were the goats and the other farm animals and the kind people who work the farm.
The site itself (#3) offered little privacy and the site itself didn't feel well prepared. With a little more layout prep (or maybe the other sites?) it would have been great.
Also- soooo many roosters calling. All night long.

We had a great time at Shellbark Hollow Farm! The site we were in was secluded, shaded and easily accessible. The farm store made breakfast easy - just walk up and buy your eggs and cheese in the morning. Definitely try the Pete-chego! On top of all of that, Peter was an incredibly friendly host and was really nice to get to know. Thanks for everything!

We made a last minute decision to take our little one camping for his 4th birthday and we were so happy that state campgrounds were full because it pushed us to find Peter's farm! The campsite was just a short walk from the car, making it easy to unpack AND nice to not see the car while camping. There was only one other group camping and they were down the road- we didn't hear them at all. Peter and his wife were kind, welcoming, and informative, and the goats, pigs, cat, and dog were super friendly! We stayed warm by the campfire, star-gazed just before bed, and woke up to the sound of roosters and the smell of campfire smoke in our hair. Twas perfect!
Note: this isn't a backcountry site, but there aren't easy amenities like bathrooms, showers, etc. nearby. Peter leaves wood at each site that you can purchase for campfires and there is a hose with potable water as well as a port-a-potty by the barn.
Double-note: Peter was especially accommodating by lending us extra layers and a lighter since we did a less than stellar job packing:) Thank you, Peter!
