We greatly enjoyed tent camping at Evelyn Farms! Checking in was easy. Christie will give you a tour and you get to choose your campsite. She recommended one for us in the woods and it was perfect, mostly shaded area with lots of natural light, close by a stream. We came in later in the evening / night and a fire was already built for us.
There is a working farm on the property so we got visited by various animals. Our children were thrilled to be offered to feed the chickens and hold new born piglets!
On the land they have a fire pit area with large logs to sit on, so you don't have to lug your chairs or firewood. We did bring our own water, but there was water available to wash dishes. Bring water shoes to play/ walk in the stream.
Christie and Dan are knowledgeable and friendly. I had a barrage of farming questions and they will enthusiastically share their experience with anyone interested in doing what they are doing.
We are hoping to get back there during firefly season someday which I heard is just magical.
