Truly cannot recommend this little cabin enough! It has everything you could want or need while staying - a cozy wood stove with plenty of chopped wood and fire starters, pans for cooking on it along with some basic spices and oils. Tons of games, extra blankets, basic kitchen supplies for eating/drinking, including a can opener, wine opener and bottle opener.
The cabin itself is more spacious than the pictures show, with a very comfy full size bed and room for an air mattress even. Although there is no running water or electricity, there were many battery operated candles that perfectly lit the room at dark and created a charming and romantic vibe. There was also plenty of stocked up water bottles and jugs for drinking and washing.
The outhouse is heated and the sink, toilet and camping shower truly make this a full on glamping experience. Although the neighbors are close, the cabin is perfectly positioned for an exclusive private experience, with the window perfectly framing the sunset over the mountains. Absolutely breath taking.
As we went mid January, we didn’t make much use of the outside portion, but the hammocks and fire pit looked absolutely lovely and would be so fun to use in warmer months.
Lastly, Chris was an incredible host. So welcoming, kind and gracious! He made us feel right at home, gave us tips for getting the most out of our stay and then let us be to enjoy our time!
Cannot wait to book again!
