Conowingo Creek Campsite
Gini’s campground was wonderful, the perfect spot to introduce my toddlers to camping. The river was calm enough for the kids to go tubing for the first time as well. Gini and her husband are incredible hosts, highly recommend!

We loved our glamping adventure. The peace and quiet and the quality time was priceless. Actually when we got home did not turn the TV on until nighttime. We highly recommend this site.

Wow! Just wow!
Family of 5, our first time camping and we left wanting more days.
Gini is an amazing Camp Host, definitely very clean, kid friendly and it was so much help having all the utensils, soap , etc. Already there.

Beautiful site - the creek is so clean and cool, our nephew had a fantastic time. Amazing paths through the woods with so many fire flies… the treehouse was very unique and extremely comfortable. Thank you for having us and helping our families make beautiful memories together!

If you are considering choosing Gini's land for your glamping adventure, DO IT! Not only is her property gorgeous and secluded, but the tiny little details she so thoughtfully places throughout the property makes you feel so special. We booked the campsite and treehouse for our first family camping trip with our two young boys (9 and 7) and are so blessed we did. The accommodations were very comfortable so we knew our boys would sleep well through the night, even through a torrential thunderstorm! Our boys loved exploring the property and building their independence wandering her trails. The creek was a cool and exciting escape from the heat that came when the sun was out. Gini was also so understanding of our disabled son (note he doesn't have any mobility issues) and engaged him with feeding her chickens and gathering eggs as soon as we arrived. We have made memories of a lifetime and are already planning when to visit again.

Awesome weekend with the family and pup. The hosts were great in helping us plan for the weekend and bring us whatever we needed. Rained hard at night but tent kept us warm and dry.

Gini and Kelly’s property was an absolute joy to stay in. It was clean, comfortable and stocked with anything we could possibly need. The area was a little forest oasis with mowed trails and a creek for the dogs to play in. We had such a great time and appreciate the attention to detail. We would love to come back as soon as possible! Don’t forget to purchase some of Gini’s eggs, way better than you could ever get at the store.

The campsite is beautiful, well groomed, neat, and perfectly organized. Access to everything you need is simple and easily accessible. The walking paths are wide and well maintained, the river is close to the site, with a hammock at the riverside and chairs at the tent site. The campground is private and quiet. Gini could not be more accessible and helpful. Everything was at the site-dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, a very nice loo, bed linens, etc. , water was provided to! Great fire pit and grill.

We had the best time throughout our weekend at this site! They’ve truly thought of everything and provide whatever you need, and they mean it when they said all you need to bring is your clothes and food to cook. We usually go on more primitive camping trips and have to bring so much gear with us, and it was so much more relaxing to have everything set up and ready to go when we arrived. The bed was also SO cozy and we slept great. Also their entire property is so meticulously maintained, we were truly so impressed with the space. Our dogs had a blast playing in the creek and running through the paths the whole time too! We can’t wait to come back again in the future.

I decided to spend my birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Gini was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the start. The site was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing camping trip. One of the highlights was catching a couple of trout right from the nearby creek and cooking them over the fire stove—such a memorable moment. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with great hospitality.

Absolutely perfect little site. We are experienced campers and usually do our own tent/grill/chairs and so on, but really enjoyed taking an easier route to set up this time and got to focus more of our time on the best parts of camping!
There is some ambient noise from the surrounding farms and roadways, but the overall enjoyment of the site made us forget about it quickly. The easy walk to the creek was a fun way to spend some time, and our dogs loved romping in the water. Our hosts were gracious and communicated perfectly. We are already planning to come back again!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this campsite was something special. The tent was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy. The bed was so comfortable, we slept like logs each night under the stars.
Some of our favorite memories were made cooking dinner and chatting around the fire with my daughters. There’s something so grounding about sharing stories under a canopy of trees, the flames crackling and laughter echoing into the night.
We also loved the peaceful walks to the nearby creek. It was such a beautiful, tranquil spot. It became our little escape, where we could splash, explore, or simply sit and enjoy the serenity.
This was a memory-making experience that we’ll carry with us forever. Highly, highly recommend!

Camping at Conowingo Creek is an absolute delight every time! It's my favorite form of self care. Gini and Kelly leave no stone unturned and consistently provide the best experience possible. There's no tent in the woods I would rather camp in :)

My family of four adults had a short but wonderful stay at Conowingo Creek! Gini was a terrific host and very accomodating when we had to modify our schedule. Everything about the site was beautifully and thoughtfully considered and executed, and it was very clear that Gini and her husband put a lot of effort into making each visit special. We definitely hope to go back!

What a great little camp site. My dog and I had a lot of fun exploring and hiking around the area. Lots of little perks like a portable charger and heater are available for extra. Gini is a great host. Overall, highly recommend this place.

I kinda wanna keep it a secret, but I wouldn’t do that to them……because they’re super awesome people. So are their dogs. So is their food and attentiveness! Even delivered coffee with fixings every morning 🥰
The kiddo has already claimed the treehouse with her buddy for the next time. I’ll stick with the glorious glamp site.
My kid, the dog, and I, just got back from the most amazing glamping trip we’ve had yet. From the hammock at the creek to the beautifully manicured grass paths that you can walk, barefoot, this place triple exceeded my expectations. All the wood I needed, every utensil and tool imaginable, they’ve got it. We slept incredibly well, and the ‘loo’ is a true outdoor luxury 😂. If you’re a camper, who takes a shovel with you, you’ll get me.

Wow—this campsite exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained site. The surroundings were breathtaking—peaceful, private, and immersed in nature. One of the best parts? It was perfect for our dogs! We brought our three pups, and they were welcomed with open arms. The space was safe, with plenty of room for them to explore without worry. It’s not always easy to find truly dog-friendly spots, but this one went above and beyond. What also really set this place apart was the attention to detail and the thoughtful touches from the hosts. You can tell they truly care about creating an unforgettable experience for their guests. Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or a basecamp for adventure, this spot is perfect.

Our weekend at Camp Conowingo far exceeded any Hipcamp experience we have had to date, and we’ve had many good ones. Granted, we are tent campers who are used to bringing our own gear from tent to mattress to sleeping bags and everything in between so we overpacked, to say the least. We were not prepared for how much gear was provided and how easy this experience would be. Camp Conowingo takes “glamping” to a whole other level. From the memory foam mattress to the extra blankets and pillows, the propane heater (well worth the small extra fee on cold nights), the huge stockpile of firewood, the pots and pans, Coleman stove, lanterns, paper products, cleaning supplies, and anything else you could imagine; everything was provided for except for food and beverage. And beyond the basics, the attention to detail, and the overall pride shown for this little piece of paradise was very evident. We were greeted with potted pansies, locally made whoopee pies, and a plentiful supply of drinking water deliciously curated by Kelly, the resident water management expert. Paths were lined with wine bottle torches and a hammock provided pleasant respite overlooking the river.
It’s a beautiful site in the woods in the middle of Amish country. Listen for the pleasant clop clop of hooves as the neighbors pass by in their horse-drawn carriages. We’ll be back!

Highly recommend booking your stay at Conowingo Creek! The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful. The property has a beautifully kept trail and the camp site was quiet and private. This is a great option for a weekend getaway with everything you need already there, just pack some food and clothes. In the chilly weather the heater in the tent kept us warm all night. We will be back very soon!

We came here to celebrate my kids’s birthdays. The site was beautiful and peaceful. We were able to bring our dog and have her off leash which she loved. Our kids stayed in the treehouse. It was a really nice time to unplug and spend time together the site itself is perfect. Gini has supplied everything that you could possibly need.

The campsite was lovely, incredibly well-stocked and well-organized, and had everything we needed for cooking, which made our stay easy and comfortable. Gini was great to communicate with, always responsive and helpful. When we realized we’d forgotten an air mattress for the extra tent we arranged for our son, Gini and Kelly stepped in and helped us out, saving the day. It was a fantastic experience overall, and we’d love to come back!

Overall, great place to stay at. The hosts are amazing and cater to all your needs, hospitality is a definite 11/10. The location itself is beautiful, there's a really cool path you can walk around in that loops and runs by a shallow stream that was exceptionally relaxing. Highly recommend for special weekend getaways where you want to be outdoors with the simplicity of having a ready-made bed waiting for you and all the essentials you could need at your disposal.
Exceeded all our expectations and then some, would definitely recommend!

Nice site. Everything ready for you- clean and well maintained. no electric or wi-fi which we didn’t mind, but you may want to pack a battery pack for your phone. Loved the stream area, tiki torches, and fire pit. Was a bit noisy at night-very near two highways and could hear the trucks and an early morning 4:30am rooster that wanted everyone up.-I would bring earplugs to sleep soundly.

I recently stayed in the main site and it was fantastic. The tent was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and cozy blankets, making it feel like a luxury escape in the middle of nature. Site is beautiful and well maintained! Ample open space, clear paths to the creek, and lots of light provided by the tiki torches that border the site and path to the parking area. Every accomodation is met, you would be hard pressed to find something that isn't provided. You can arrive with the bare minimum of food and a camp stove, you'll be just fine. Gini & Kelly take great pride in their site, and are always making improvements that ensure a wonderful experience. I've been coming here every 3-4 months for almost 3 years, it's the perfect little getaway!
