Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is the perfect location for a camping, boating, and fishing vacation. We are located just a short distance from a boat launch, making it easy to start your day on the water. This is a new primitive camping spot for your RV with upcoming upgrades—we are currently working to have an electric hookup installed before the season begins. The site includes a picnic table and a commercial-grade fire pit with an attached grill (the same style used by Pennsylvania State Parks). Please note that there are currently no water or sewer hookups. For your convenience, the property features a U-shaped driveway for easy access when towing a boat, along with additional parking for a second vehicle. The lake is within walking distance (about a half-mile) for your fishing and boating enjoyment. While there are pit toilets located at the nearby boat launch, we also provide a portable toilet on-site for all guests. This camping site is a new primitive camping spot with a curve drive way so it is easy to enter if you are towing a boat with your RV. We are working on having an electric hookup in the near future and will have a port-o-let for rentals. Our two acres are in an older development with only a few homes near by. We are located just a few minutes to the boat launch on Raystown lake, Pennsylvania largest lake. We are located near the beginning of the lake where it is less crowded then the dam area near five points marina. Location is near Saxton a small town with a grocery store and fine restaurants for your enjoyment. Camping site has an fire pit with a grill attached for cooking. and a picnic table.
