Choice Camping Court stands out as a unique family-owned campground with a rich history dating back to 1969, when Harold and Doris Wertz transformed their family farmland into a welcoming retreat for campers. For four decades, they infused the campground with joy and laughter, with Harold's playful spirit and Doris's warm kindness creating a memorable atmosphere. As a proud military-owned and operated establishment, we honor the dedication of our military personnel and their families. Today, the campground is managed by the next generation, Troy and Charles (Chip) Wertz, who have expanded it to include 245 sites. Under the guidance of campground manager Karah Wertz, we offer a variety of accommodations, including full hook-up, water/electric, and tent sites. Nestled along the Juniata River, our campground provides excellent opportunities for fishing and leisurely floating on warm summer days. At Choice Camping Court, we cherish the essence of traditional camping, where families gather around campfires to share stories and roast s'mores. Many of our campers have been returning for over 30 years, creating lasting memories together.
