It was so quiet and peaceful! I think I heard several types of owls, which is really cool! The trails are amazingly maintained. Dave was very kind and responsive, and made sure we got settled in. I will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Dave’s campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. The site had plenty of space for our family, and it was peaceful and private. Dave was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed evenings around the fire, mornings with beautiful views, and lots of quality family time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful and secluded camping spot, very quiet, big and peaceful. We felt welcomed and had a lovely time. We will be back. Dave is a great host and his camping spot is great.

We loved camping on Dave’s land! We decided last minute to camp for the weekend and Dave was more than accommodating! Lots of firewood made for a great time around the fire! There was a cooking grate as well as sticks for dogs/mallows! Super private with lots of room to explore! Our pup Waylon had a wonderful time romping around and we had an over all fabulous time! Would highly recommended and hope to find the time to make it back this season!

Very peaceful and private here! I had plenty of cell service (Verizon) and had everything I needed. Dave “upgraded” me to the campsite with more amenities because I was the only camper there that night—a very nice offer and having the picnic table and privy made things easier. Dave is a great camp host, friendly and knowledgeable of the area!

I truly can’t say enough great things about the experience. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and a genuine connection to nature, this is it. The site felt like a hidden sanctuary—perfectly tucked away for a sense of privacy and tranquility that’s hard to find these days. Plenty of wildlife to sit back and watch, too.
The hosts were absolutely wonderful—the kindest and most welcoming people you could hope to meet. They made sure I felt at home and taken care of, without ever being intrusive. Definitely do yourself a favor and purchase the firewood—totally worth it.
Site 1 was a dream. The outhouse! It was my first time encountering an outhouse at a primitive-type site, and it was hands down the best part of camping here. Clean, thoughtfully placed, and so appreciated—it made the stay even more comfortable.
All in all, this spot offered everything I was looking for: solitude, comfort, and nature at its purest. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my return.

We loved camping at the Chappel Hill tree farm, Dave’s land is the perfect spot. Private place to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature. Our golden Jax enjoyed playing ball in the field and trotting through the trail with us. Would love to stay again! :)

We had a great time at Site one !!! Secluded, but Dave had all the necessary items at the site that made it a perfect escape weekend from the city. My dogs loved the freedom, we loved the beauty !! Thanks to Dave for being a Steward of this beautiful serene property. The cooking grate was great !! Lol, and the he had the best Outhouse so far !! We will be back.

This was the perfect place to be outside alone! It was very peaceful! The site is plenty big enough for everything you might need and would be big enough for more than one tent! Dave was so great and very organized with information, firewood, and even a grill for the fire pit! The outhouse here was the cleanest I’ve ever seen! This will definitely be one of my go to Hip Camps!

Dave happily greeted me at campsite 2 and explained the property and trails well. A continuous beeping was eminating from the nearby cell tower, for an unknown reason, so he showed me another close camping area that I could camp in quiet if I wished. Site 2 is really nice with the perimeter trail nearby or you could just walk along the 'road' in the camping area. Dave thoughtfully said that the people the next day were leaving at site 1 so I could move over there if I wished. Sure! The large, exposed, site 1 was quite a treat! It was funny reading the things people wrote/drew in the new outhouse. (He encourages us to write a message). Love hiking on the trail. Beautiful open sky for starwatching. I didn't want to leave!

Our third time back and first time at campsite 1. Our stay was exceptional as always. Picture perfect weather and awesome fall foliage in every direction. Dave’s property is second to none and our favorite spot to get away. Can’t wait till next season!

I’ve already recommended Dave’s land to so many friends! Had an absolutely gorgeous and peaceful time here. There are nice flat areas for tent camping with pine tree cover at site 1 that was great for an unexpected rain storm. There also a ton of amenities like a cooking grate, toilet, covered wood pile, and fire ring.
It feels so private even though you’re facing out to a wide open field and we really enjoyed the solitude of hiking the well maintained and thought out trails around the land.
Dave is a wonderful and friendly host who provides a ton of information to navigate his land and the surrounding area easily.
I definitely recommend going to the Drake Well Museum about 20 minutes away in Oil City!

We loved our weekend at Dave's property! What a delight it was to explore the trails on the property. We saw several deer and plenty of chipmunks, lol, and we were close enough to the ANF to go exploring overlooks. The best part was keeping our dog off leash, not something allowed in a campground. We will definitely be booking another stay soon!

I actually stayed campsite number one. The location is very remote and quiet. I would highly recommend it. Anybody that has AT&t service does not have service though... Download offline maps.

What an incredible location for a peaceful weekend away. Dave's tree farm was so tranquil. Our weekend was one for the record books. The walking trails were groomed well and let us enjoy hours of adventure. The site itself was clean and very flat. We had great campfires with dry wood supplied by Dave. The stars at night were absolutely incredible. We rank this as one of the BEST places we have ever camped. 10 out of 10!!

I really enjoyed my long weekend at Dave’s tree farm. Dave greeted us when we arrived and told us all about the property. Campsite 1 was very secluded and had a great set of amenities. There was a nice flat spot close to the picnic table and campfire, perfect for the tents. The outhouse was the nicest I’d ever seen, and the horseshoes and hiking trails made for great activities. I would definitely book another stay here!

The place was rare and surprising. There was such thoughtfulness and beauty in the design. It’s wonderful if you’re really looking to immerse yourself in nature and have trails and freedom. There’s whimsy in the trails and Dave’s conservancy is inspiring!

We loved our stay at Chappel Hill Tree Farm! It was a quiet and much needed unplugged getaway. Campsite 1 was perfect for our 16ft trailer with lots of room to spare. The hiking trails throughout the property were an added bonus. There were other campers staying at campsite 2 and if we hadn't been told they were there, we would have never have known. Dave and Rhonda were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Chappel Hill Tree Farm is a real gem! We stayed at Campsite 1 for 4 nights. There was plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out and play yard games including horseshoes at the court that was part of camp. The outhouse was very clean and convenient. Dave has 2 hiking trails right on his property which we enjoyed immensely. The best part of camp is how private and secluded it is from all other people. We did not hear or see anyone else, other than Dave who kindly greeted us upon arrival. We felt very safe with the gated entry. We all loved this camp and hope to return in the future.

Dave is a lovely host! He checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He also provided a map of the land which was so handy when figuring out where the trails were. There's another campsite on the property but it feels like you're the only one! It was everything we needed and more.

We stayed at campsite #1. Dave met us on arrival. He gave us all the helpful indormation. Also gave us a box of pamphlets on nearby attractions to go through. We bought the wood from Dave. Its not a bundle it is a huge pile and said use what you need for that 10 bucks. We loved the secludedness! We will highly recommend. Great host and great property if you want to be alone! His outhouse had motion lights and super clean and no smells.
