Secluded, off grid getaway! On a private lane, but close to anything you may need! It consists of four buildings! The owners private A frame built atop a stone springhouse! A Bunkhouse! An amazing deck with outdoor kitchen and fireplace! A private bathhouse with an attached guest bathouse! The bunk house that will sleep 2 to 3 people with a propane wall mounted heater! You could also bring your own tent or vehicle camper up to 18-20 ft. No trailers! Enjoy the beautiful Stone fireplace surrounded by a deck and partial roof that consists of an outdoor kitchen with running water! A small stream and mini waterfalls that include a small pond make for a peaceful relaxing night at the campfireSpend the night in the Bunk House! Camping mats and mattresses are provided! (Bring a blanket and pillow) Pitch your own tent! Park your camper van! Please note: the A frame structure above the springhouse and private bathouse is not available for guest use. Guest bathouse is available. Use the deck/outdoor kitchen with fireplace and the outdoorsy bathroom with portable toilet and hot showers! (Requires a little effort on the guests' part)! This private offgrid getaway is located on a hillside accessed by a private lane with twists and turns and drop-offs that would scare a mountain goat! You can can make it. Just take your time. This started as a 1920s log cabin that burnt down decades ago. The foundation and fireplace survived but needed restoration! We were lucky enough to find a great mason who coincidently lives on the other side of the mountain and was excited to help restore it! It is now a unique and beautiful deck with an outdoor kitchen with running water! The Bunkhouse can sleep two adults and one or two children. There is a propane heater for those chilly nights! We have added some camping mats and mattresses. There is a guest outdoorsy bathhouse with a portable toilet and hot showers (propane heated). The shower is provided by a solar powered pump. Guests must heat the water to their desired temperature. There is solar lighting, phone chargers, radio/ cd player, board games, Bean bag toss and a rocking chair and hammock for your relaxation! Also, a child's swings and slide and Tonka trucks. The mini waterfalls leading a small pond provide a relaxing atmosphere! ( Flow depends on the amount of rain)! The deck, outdoor kitchen with running water, fireplace, and campfire ring may be used by guests as long as there is not a burn ban in effect and fires are kept to a minimum! Check out the Spring House and use it to keep your favorite beverages cold! It is advised not to drink the water! Bottled water may be available in the springhouse or outdoor kitchen! Please no smoking on the deck or in any of the buildings! Clean up after your pets! Take out what you bring in! Please don't leave food or packaging! Garbage bags provided! Running water and showers may not be available during cold seasons. Hiking in and out may be required in times of ice and snow. If you like privacy and relaxation, this is for you! Shopping in Wilkes Barre/Scranton is just minutes away! For a great meal, try Adelina's in Mountain Top! For a snack, try Abe's Hot Dog's next to the mini golf course and top it off with an ice cream from Malacari's, just a few feet away! There are many attractions covering everyone's style and taste within easy reach! Enjoy your stay! We are not a commercial campground!

Awesome private site! It rained most of our stay but we loved hanging out in the outdoor kitchen and cooking dinner with a fire going. Outdoor kitchen, bathroom hut, and tiny bunkhouse all have lights that are powered through solar generator. Felt very safe here and would love to stay again in the future.

Cats Camp was perfect for our group of 8! Even tho it was raining we stayed dry under the lean to and were able to sit around the fireplace and enjoy the serenity of it all! It was also nice to have a fully stocked kitchen!

I can't say enough good things. Great secluded location still close to amenities. The cabin is perfect for sleeping and the outdoor kitchen is amazing. We will absolutely be staying again if Vince will have us back.

Awesome Stay

Amazing stay! This site is accessible, yet secluded. Plenty of space for kids to run and play and the bunkhouse slept 4 comfortably. The outdoor kitchen/living area is so unique and spacious with all supplies well stocked. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for kids

We took our nephews(11&13) camping by ourselves for the first time, and this place was the perfect spot for us! We are avid campers but the boys are not nearly as outdoorsy, but they raved about the spot. They loved having the bunkhouse to themselves while we pitched our tent under the tree near the small pond. The kitchen space was perfect for us, and the fireplace was such a nice feature. We had such a nice quiet night, the camp felt safe and private. Our nephews said they "definitely want to come back" so I guess we will be back to enjoy this gorgeous spot again.
