We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

This site is quite private but closer to the porta potty than our other site (far enough but quite close). It is just inside the woods though you'll still be able to pull one car close to your site, second care just about 20 feet away. There is a fire pit and a picnic table. Also a pretty big rock

Disc Golf (private course on our property w/PDGA approved Baskets & turf or wood chip tees. Hiking. Wildlife. Blueberry farm(season is July into August). Cross Country Skiing. We will provide info on activities nearby. Hiking, fishing, river trips (kayak etc) parks, historic sites, waterfalls, swimming and more, there is a lot to do in our little corner of rural Pennsylvania. We are 3.2 miles from town so groceries etc are very convenient. Only about 2.5-3 hours from Philly and NYC (depending on traffic 😉). Tunkhannock is a quaint little town with some small shops, a few great restaurants and a movie theater.

Camping at CSDG for the second time, and it was just as great as the first. We had the chance to play a round with Cathy, John, and Dave, and we had such a fun time that we played an additional 8 on the older course with the makeshift baskets—definitely awesome!! You can tell Cathy and John love what they do, and they radiate nothing but warmth and kindness. Communication was great, bathroom was clean, and the camp site was private and stocked with wood. Can’t wait to come back in the spring!

Catherine was such a friendly host! She even gave us some frisbees to try out disc golfing as we were all total newbies at it! The campsite is absolutely perfect. Relatively flat plot to pitch a tent, a really nice fire pit, easy access to a porta potty. The campsite was also very accessible from the town so if you wanted to use a "real" bathroom that was more than doable! Amazing view from the campsite as well, waking up to the fog settling on the hill was sooo beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away!

Campsite at discgolf course was clean and easy to find. The grounds were quiet and the disc golf course was fun and challenging. Our hosts were wonderful and friendly. Fresh flowers were a great touch that added color to our picnic table.

We camped on Cathy and John’s property at “our Most Convenient Woods” and had a fantastic time!! The campsite was exactly as described, tucked away in the woods right next to the course (perfect place to practice some putts). We could see the stars at night and enjoy wildlife while also enjoying a few rounds—absolute paradise. Cathy and John were awesome hosts who invited us to join them for Saturday Tags, but, unfortunately, we were a little slow moving and started a bit late. We caught up with them on the course and they gave us some history of the property as well as some pointers for how to shoot some of the more difficult holes. Can’t wait to go back and again and play a round with these awesome people on their beautiful land. Definitely a must book!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Catherine’s spot! We stayed in “Most Convenient Woods,” and it was very convenient! Catherine met us and got us to the site upon arrival, despite the late hour. She also made sure our water jug got filled before we got to the site. We quite enjoyed exploring the disc golf course, and played a very enjoyable round of “renegade” golf. The views from the hill were beautiful, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom and exploration, as well, and there were ZERO TICKS on them when we got home, which was very nice as well. Would love to stay again!

I had such a wonderful stay at Catherine’s Hipcamp with my dog! From the moment I arrived, Catherine was so welcoming and accommodating, she even met me at the entrance to guide me to the site. She had dry firewood ready, which made my evening so cozy. The property itself is fantastic: quiet, tucked away from busy roads, and beautifully secluded. I felt completely safe the whole time. The views were incredible, and I loved that there was a portable potty available and even a disc golf course on-site. It’s clear Catherine puts a lot of care into hosting. Her kindness really stood out and made my stay extra special. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway!

I loved camping in this little spot. Even though I had a bit of a rainy weekend I still had fun and Cathy was super helpful and attentive. She brought me firewood and flowers!

My son and I had a great time! It's a beautiful spot, tucked away but not too secluded. The host is wonderful! The site is large and pretty level with most necessities provided (picnic table, firewood, potapotty nearby). It rained buckets on the day of our departure and the ground did not turn into a mud pit, which was a very pleasant surprise. We will be back.

Catherine was so helpful and accommodating. There was an issue with the app and the day of my reservation disappeared, I thought for sure at that point we weren’t going to be able to get it worked out since it was the day of. I reached out to Catherine to ask her if my name was anywhere on the booking and she responded quickly mentioning it was not but we were able to get rebooked and the trip was saved! The site itself was amazing, very quiet and private. I would 100% recommend!

Catherine is a warm and friendly host. The campsite feels very private. There is an epic disc golf course which is excellent to follow for a walk if you’re not “into” disc golf. The whole land is well kept. It’s a great camp.

Absolutely fantastic site! Quite with an outstanding view! Catherine showed us how to play disc golf with one of the baskets adjacent our site! Great host and will most definitely be going back! Just a note that this site is slightly hilly so leveling your food top tent of larger tent on the ground may require a little forethought but definitely not a reason to avoid!!!

Me and my two cousins had a great time here the host and her husband are great and really fun. Same with the other campers fishing. There is fun and lots of action. We will definitely be coming back and we are looking forward to it.😁

My friends and I loved our trip to John and Catherine's land. We had plenty of room at our site for the 5 of us, plenty of firewood, plenty of privacy. The disc golf course is very fun, pretty technical but has so much character and passion from the owners. We all loved playing a round with the owners and had an unforgettable trip. The property is beautiful. Check it out!

Cathy and John were very communicative from the start, and made sure that our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The camping here is fantastic! Super private and quiet - felt isolated, yet easy to find, and still close to conveniences in town. The disc golf course was an awesome bonus, and Cathy gave us some fantastic suggestions of things to do in the area (creeks, gorges, swimming, etc). Finally, the icing on the cake - we were able to pick fresh blueberries on our way out! Can’t wait to come back - thanks!

The owner was very sweet, made sure we had everything that we needed. She even gave us a trash bag full of burnables so that we could easier light a fire. I cannot Express how sweet this lady was. Her sister runs or owns a blueberry farm right next to the campsite. We had a chance to meet her, and she was an angel as well. The campsite was clean, had plenty of wood, and was very homey. I would definitely visit again

Catherine was a great host. Made sure we had fresh water, plenty of fire wood and even paper to start the fire. The view during the day was beautiful. The stars at night were just as great. If you like disc golf, this is a must do weekend camping trip!

We loved our stay out! If you like disc golf the course is a fun yet challenging course that takes you on a beautiful little nature walk. Our spot was in a great spot no one else was around. The other camping spot is about 500-800 feet away. Found a lot of mushrooms to forage and cook as well.

Catherine was a wonderful host and her land is very beautiful! She met us upon arrival and guided us to the campsite, the Grassy Corner with a View. There was a nice fire pit and it was about a 5 minute walk to a porta-potty if needed. Great place to watch the stars over the open field.

Really great spot. Hosts were super helpful and gave us plenty of firewood and water. There was a nice fire pit in the campsite and I could easily pull my car right up to the site. I had no problems using my rooftop tent here. There might be a way to get a second car pulled up to the campsite to set another rooftop tent up on the opposite side of the camp, but it would be tight. It was a little too rainy for us to check out much of the disc golf course but the section we saw looked nice. Overall I thought it was a great experience and I would happily recommend checking it out.

My fiance and I came here for a place to stay that was close to Bear Creek Preserve. We mainly chose this spot for how beautiful it looked, but the pictures do no justice. The spot is beautiful, and on top of that you also have the disc golf course. We have never played nor really heard of disc golf before except slightly, but after staying here and Catherine being so kind as to lend us discs to use, we now found a new hobby and plan to keep playing. Catherine was a very kind and hospitable host, and her site was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back and recommend to anyone looking!

Catherine was a fantastic host and helped us out with everything from directions to water to newspaper for the fire and a map of the FG course. We switched to the further camping spot and had a fantastic view and we had a FG basket right by us (no one came through using it) giving us an extra activity in a beautiful area.

What a fantastic site! It was spacious & private, with a beautiful and sturdy picnic table. It has plenty of tree cover, but next to the field for stargazing if the weather allows. The site is close to the port o potty, but not too close. Portopotty was clean & well maintained The site was well supplied wood & tinder. Out host was great! She was super helpful, responsive & had local tips & definitely made us feel at home. We also enjoyed the Disc Golf course! It is, rustic, challenging & rewarding. It has a nice balance of wooded tees and open field tees, vistas & other fun finds like a tree swing. We plan to return soon.
