Adam's property was exceptionally well-kept, open and spacious, and super convenient to all the Erie, PA amenities. We were especially impressed by how clean the facilities were, the availability of firewood, and Adam's quick responsiveness whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Adam!

Great place to stay - 30 minutes from Presque Isle, 15 minutes from pier fishing from the south side of the bay.
Nice wide open space. Easy access for my 23 ft travel trailer. Porta john available for tent campers. Lots of shade available.
The Host was great, he provided high quality firewood (for a fee).
The only downside was considerable (but bearable) road noise from the nearby Bayfront Connector.

Close to the highway but nice and private. I liked having the gate code and being able to “lock up” the drive once I was settled in. Well kept, felt safe, pub nearby. 👍

We had a great time at camp Bandur. There was plenty of space to roam around and even a trampoline for kids to play. We would love to come back.

We loved the big open space and the relaxed atmosphere. Our boys brought their fourwheelers along and Adam was very accommodating and gave tips and places to ride on his property. We enjoyed our stay and made memories.

We camped on Adam’s property for the eclipse and had a great time. He was friendly and accommodating, there were options to choose from for where to set up camp, and the portapotties were clean even for the amount of campers staying for the eclipse. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and was close to conveniences like gas stations, food, Walmart, etc. Would definitely camp here again!

This is what makes Hipcamp so great. You have a caring fellow camper (Adam & family) willing to share their little piece of the American dream with others. The property is a real gem and will only continue to get better as Adam continues to make improvements. It was a very wet week leading up to the eclipse weekend and Adam had an unusual number of campers with reservations. He spent countless hours on site making sure everyone had a nice dry and level camp. He ferried campers, equipment and firewood wherever needed. He set me up in a great wooded site that was secluded and peaceful. Three days here was not enough. I will return!

Adam was so nice and helped us with whatever we needed during our stay. The site was nice but super muddy due to the rain this time of year, but he did his best to help us pick a dry spot. It was a bit crowded during our stay, but it makes sense since we were all there to watch the eclipse. Thank you Adam! :)

It was a great experience. Adam was really responsive and helped us to adjust well to the site. It's a dispersed camping space, so you need to be prepared. But the space is great and the location is really convenient.

We didn't end up camping at Adam's place due to wet weather, but Adam was very honest about letting us know, which I really appreciated. Would be interested in checking out the land some time in the future!

We stayed for the total solar eclipse in April 2024, and though it had been a rainy couple weeks, the property was starting to dry and there were places that were good and level for camping. Adam was great and flexible, letting us change spots when the first area we picked was too wet; the second was perfect. He had good dry wood for burning, and the portable toilets were the cleanest I have used. The field was open and close to town for supplies. If you stay near the road you can hear cars until it gets late, but it wasn’t bad and it probably fades if you stay near the back of the property. Overall a great place to stay.

Adam was super responsive and helpful! There were heavy rains before we arrived and our Prius got stuck in the mud but Adam and his crew helped pull us out right away. We were all there to experience the total solar eclipse and Adam expertly spaced us all out so we were not too crowded. Our stay was great, Adam had plenty of firewood available for purchase.

Very communicative! It rained heavily prior to our stay and Adam kept us up to date on the mud situation- by the time we arrived it wasn’t too bad! We stayed 3 nights and saw the total eclipse from our campsite. Easy access to Erie Bluffs- great hiking trails! And Presque Isle for the lovely beaches. Throughly enjoyed the camping area. Nice and flat! Plenty of room to spread out and not too close to your neighbors.

We recently went tent camping here for the total solar eclispe, which we haven’t seen in 7 years. This is a fantastic spot! A great place and a hidden gem. Adam is a great host! Many places to explore on the property. Dogs are welcome. Our dog made many new friends during our stay and so did we. .Definately coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glad the host go me at the last minute! Was snowing and cold but enjoyed the place all to myself. Adam was nice enough to plow the hill to the spot also👍🏼 Will be back before winter is over for sure!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp Bandur, a slice of country but close to an interstate cross road which is quite convenient. Had fun seeing the sites in the Erie area, just wish it hadn't rained every day. We would definitely like to comeback in the Summer.

Had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a fire, fetch with the dogs and a lovely view. Adam was quick to respond to our last minute request and came by to make sure we were all set. Definitely would come back again. It’s a bit tricky to find the driveway but look for the green post on the right side of the road.

Camping near Lake Erie is hard to find, and Camp Bandur was the best option available. We were the only people there which was nice. It’s simply a field with a porta-potty, which was all we needed. Only downside is proximity to a busy road but otherwise a peaceful stay.
