Camp in a secluded meadow next to a refreshing brook and swimming hole located in the back corner of a 50 Acre former Christmas Tree Farm. Enjoy a day of horse shoes and swimming followed by camp fire stories around a bon fire in a huge fire ring. Or cross the stream on a log bridge to Fire Island for a small cozy campfire. Ample space to accommodate large groups. 4x4 access only as the access trail is steep in spots and can get pretty exciting depending on the weather. Cheers! If you have any trouble accessing or submitting the form electronically please contact the owner who will send a pdf version you can fill out and submit via email. As noted on the form, there is an additional charge for more than 5 campers and 1 vehicle. Also please note Brookside Meadows does not have toilet facilities except for a "LugaLoo" toliet bucket. Campers must provide and carry out their own proper sanitary waste/ WAG bags.

      Brookside Meadows Retreat
      Liam’s property is beautiful, and we loved our time camping there! It is an awesome spot for dogs, has plenty of flat space for tents, and has two fire pits (one is on the little island adjacent to the main campsite). While it was too cold for swimming, the creek that borders the campsite looks like a great place to cool off on a hot day. Liam and his dad Kevin were both very communicative and helpful in answering our questions leading up to our stay. Thank you for a great weekend!

      A winner.
      As another camper put it “A magical spot”. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been a water hose to clean off after a dip in the stream - it was a little muddy - BUT the spot is secluded, spacious, well kept and absolutely gorgeous. While star-gazing we saw what had to have been a comet or the largest shooting star I have seen in my entire life of looking up at the sky. We will be back. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful space!

      Brookside Meadows Retreat
      Had a great time on Liam's property. The cleared site is large and flat, treeline surrounding the site makes it visually secluded (summer months at least). Enjoyed falling asleep to the soft sound of cascading water in the creek. There was occasional noise from neighboring properties and roads that wasn't terribly intrusive but would momentarily detract from the otherwise very tranquil environment. Took a dip in the creek, at the deepest it was about waist-high during our stay. Great exchanges with Liam and Kevin during the planning of our trip and we didn't have any issues while on-site. Hoping to return sometime soon!

      Magical campground - we'll be back
      This was the most perfect and magical campground. A large flat grassy area alongside the best creek with bridges and a rope from a tree to swing into a swimming hole. Large campfire ring, everything was well maintained. The owner and his dad set up easy to follow guides to the site on the least muddy trails available. Highly recommend.

      Brookside Meadows Retreat
      Brookside Meadows was awesome and can’t wait to go back. The stream was crystal clear and we even swam in it. Definitely book this site!!!
