Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a valley, surrounded by forest in the Oregon Coast Range. The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in. If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature. Each of our 13 extra large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping. No hook-ups or potable water available. There are seven (7) creek side sites, one site next to a pond and all have ample space around them so you don't feel crowded. Our newest addition is a cabin overlooking Powder Creek, tucked away by itself. Solar powered. The Ranch has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are roads as well as deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. Tillamook is 25 miles. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and French Garlic links) and pork chops.

One of our most popular sites, #1 sits right on the edge of Powder Creek, is a highly shaded spot, great for the heat of summer but stays a bit damp until June. Great for smaller trailers, tents or pop-ups. No turn around, limit 25' Campfire pit and picnic table.

The Homestead Cabin is situated in a very large secluded grassy site under trees, with private access to Powder creek. *Solar power for lights and plugs. *No potable water but has a dry sink, bring your own towels. *Furnished with a queen bed and twin bunks, please bring your own bedding. *Also there is a small fridge and a propane cook top. Disposable plates and tableware, pots and pans and coffee pot, basic spices are provided. Dish washing sink and detergent for clean-up. *Small heater for your comfort on cool nights. *The site also has a fire pit, picnic table and private toilet. *Dogs allowed (limit 2) with $50 refundable deposit.

This was our third time staying at the Powder Creek Campground and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. Hipcampers should be advised that the campsites can have very large groups and there are a dozen such sites in a very large open grassy area. It is a wonderful place to stay but is not necessarily a quiet, peaceful refuge.

We had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The property was peaceful, well cared for, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The creek was absolutely amazing and became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The surrounding natural landscape was beautiful, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We saw deer, snakes, crawdads, and several large birds, which made the experience feel even more connected to nature. Surprisingly, there weren't many annoying bugs, making it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. As we were packing up to leave, we accidentally locked our keys inside our car. With no cell service and everything locked inside, it could have turned into a very stressful situation. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, letting us use their landline to call for assistance and checking in on us while we waited. Their hospitality and genuine kindness really stood out and turned a frustrating moment into one that reminded us how wonderful people can be. We truly appreciated the positive energy they brought to the entire experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional hosts.

My kids really liked exploring the creek, next time I will get a site near the creek. Definitely think about all your needs. There are no stores near by. Hoost really friendly as soon as we got there. Everyone was really respectful.

We cant get over our luck with how everything came together for a trip to Powder Creek Ranch! Sites have a mix of sun and shade alongside a beautiful creek, the entire property is a joy to explore and not too far from Pacific City if you want some sandy beach time. But all that you can tell from the listing, one of our biggest joys was the discovery of how welcoming and friendly the hosts were. They were working hard behind the scenes making their sites a great experience for guests, they shared the story of their farm with us and the seasons its been through and even cleared a path down to the river so we got the chance to teach our young daughter to cast! We cant wait to visit again!!

This site was all that was promised: quiet, beautiful and a great launch pad for the nearby coast towns. The sites are very large, our kids loved exploring the creek and it was extra sweet to have firewood available via personal delivery each night (for a very reasonable fee). We loved hearing the owls at night and walking around the meadows. Will be back again for sure!

Powder creek is a fantastic campground! The owners are so kind to guests and attentive to the grounds. It is immaculate! We loved having a clean bathroom. Also, the creek is absolutely gorgeous and a joy to play in for the kids. We had also had a large group in the group site area and we all had a blast! I would 100% recommend the campground. Our only issue was the solar on our cabin. When the power ran out it made a repetitive loud beep or a high pitched wine, almost all night. Brenda was very apologetic and let us know she’s working on a solution! With that fixed, I would absolutely recommend the cabin. I’m new to Hipcamp, so I’m not sure how to give a numbered rating. I would give it a 4/5 for the cabin and a 5/5 for the campground as a whole!

Here’s a shorter version: Beautiful campsite in a perfect location with plenty of space for group camping. Being just steps from the creek made the experience even more peaceful and relaxing. Brenda was a wonderful, friendly host who made us feel welcome throughout my stay. I’d gladly stay here again!

I loved staying here! I was able to book a site the day of which was super helpful for my travels! The site I was in was large and I had so much space as there was no one around me. I was grateful for the wifi so I could get back on the correct road. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully with friends!

Can’t say enough great things about our stay at Powder Creek Campground. We stayed in site #8, and it had great shade and lots of space. There's a lovely little bubbling brook running nearby and you can hear it all over the campground. We really enjoyed chatting with hosts Bev & Brenda, and learning about the property. Looking forward to our next visit!

My family and I had an incredible stay at Powder Creek. Everything was exactly as listed, if not better! The cabin was spotless, and we loved being right next to the water! The hosts are friendly & the property is beautiful! Even the dog was impressed. No one else was camping, so it was incredibly private. Would’ve loved to stay longer!

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful! A must visit campground to reconnect and reset. We stayed in campsite 3 with the creek going past our space. It was amazing being able to take a dip, soak our feet and enjoy the sound at night as we sat around the campfire. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. We also bought some bulk breakfast sausage and it was awesome! Love supporting local farms!

Had a great stay at Powder Creek. I needed a few days of peace and quiet and that’s exactly what I got. Had the place all to myself. The host was so friendly and welcoming with a story to share. The land is beautiful and well-maintained with room to explore, play in the creek, or just do nothing and enjoy the experience. I’ll be back.

I had a wonderful, relaxing, quiet, and re-energizing stay. The hosts were very responsive, shared the history of their property, and made sure that everything was good throughout my stay. Everything was clean, especially the porta-potties on a Memorial Day weekend. Camping spots are far enough away for privacy. I had my own fire pit, plenty of space to spread out, and I just truly enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be back again, and I hope you enjoy their space as much as I did.

I keep leaving reviews because we keep coming back. We really love this campground! Gorgeous scenery, spacious lots, birds and other animals to observe, the sound of moving water--it's such a peaceful place to stay. There's also clean port-a-potties, nice benches and fire places (furnished with water buckets for safety). You can buy wood there, too and it's reasonably priced! The folks who own it are really nice. It's always lovely to chat with them when we come to visit. We found this place several years ago, and now we make it a point to visit at least once-if not twice-a year!

We had a wonderful stay at the Beaver Pond site at Powder Creek Campground. Responsive and kind host, beautiful site and location. Easy access. Alas, no longer a beaver at the pond. Peaceful, spacious site. Deer and lots of birds. Very clean.

We loved camping next to the creek. The campground and surrounding property was beautiful...a much needed getaway. Check in was easy (knocked on the front door of the house) and Bev drove us to the site. There wasn't any cell service but that helped make the experience better. We'll definitely be back!

Bev and Brenda were so amazingly accommodating! I stayed in the cabin and loved the comfortable bed and the covered deck to sit on. There was also a propane stove to heat up my water. Needless to say, I will be back for sure to do this again. The campground is very secluded from the main home and the road, the running creek was such a beautiful noise and only about 15 paces away from my front step. My dog was with me and he was loving the space to run and play with the ball.
