Great for a one night stay
Overall we had a good experience. The surroundings are beautiful. The campsites have quite a few holes, making for a somewhat unsteady surface. The host was quite responsive though. Didn't catch any fish that were big enough to keep.

Tyee Tent Camp
For us, Tyee Tent Camp site was disorganized and unwelcoming. The host was not available to meet us as was described in the post. It was not clear where we were supposed to camp and there were no good spaces to set up a tent. The river access was either overcrowded or very difficult. We left soon after arriving and found somewhere else to spend the night.

Tyee Farm Site 2
River paradise
The river access and stunning night sky are what make this spot worth it! You are just a short walk from the shore and the river is calm and refreshing. We decided to float and paddle board. The camping is a super simple set up, basically just a field. You may have neighbors next to you but there is plenty of space as long as everyone is respectful. The porta potty is... well, it's a porta potty! Don't expect anything too fancy and you'll be good to go. Thank you to our host for being super accommodating and helpful!

Tyee Tent Camp
We had a lovely weekend on Brent's land! There was a lot of tents on the mowed grass so we chose to drive a bit down the river and stay in the taller grasses. Perfect for a peaceful weekend with lots of room for our dogs to roam. The river access was rockier than we expected and one of my dogs got pretty torn up from running around, so watch out when bringing active animals or children. Overall we really appreciated the space and proximity to the ocean!

Disappointed
I had really high hopes when we booked this site. Under the impression that we would have the whole area to ourselves, but come to find out the other half of the site had been booked out also.(Didn’t find that out until we arrived). The port a potty…. Was full to the top, asked multiple times to have it cleaned out since there was 20+ people there for 4 nights and was told someone would be out and no one ever showed up. The owner just kept dumping stuff into it *fix* the issue, when asked on day 3 about it all he said was “It’s a port a potty” and shrugged. Ended up have to drive to town multiple times because the maggots and smell were so bad.
If you want to camp in an empty field with a toilet full to the top with maggots then this is the one for you.
One positive was the fishing was great.
