Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall. Here to visit wine country? Beautiful well taken care of!
Absolutely beautiful, safe and serene! Shane is a very attentive and gracious host. Very easy and quick to respond to any needs that may arrive. Tent sites with showers 🚿 is amazing and such a nice added bonus. We would definitely recommend anyone close to this area to give it a try, you won't be disappointed unless you like big cities and loudness! We will return!

Great little spot just outside the city. I was on a long road trip and needed a quiet place to rest. This was perfect for me and my pups.

The Filbert forest
Such a great site. Thank you!! A filbert orchard turned “In town camp spot”! I’d do it again. We went to the near by Dahlia farm, over to Champoeg park, over to the Butteville store, oh, don’t forget Lady Hill Winery!! Thank you Hipcamp for having such awesome areas!!

We loved tent camping here! A wonderfully unique way to get outdoors, and the mature trees provided plenty of shade for a hot weekend.

camping under the hazelnut trees!🌳
such a cool camping experience! i originally only booked one night but upon arriving i decided to book an extra night just to really soak in the beautiful orchard landscape. the owners are friendly and kind and even offered for me to help myself to their garden veggies. the outdoor shower and flushing toilets are very luxurious as well. i hope to return soon 🤗
