Such a beautiful piece of land right next to the Trask river. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived, and Carmen was so kind to leave firewood for us in the campfire! We had a wonderful time here, and are leaving full of gratitude for the hosts, the cabin, and the land itself.

My family and I enjoyed spending an evening on Carmen's ranch and fishing in the river right from the campsite. Great hospitality combined with a beautiful location. We'll be back!

Beautiful and peaceful property. The cabin stayed warm and felt safe. Bring your own light source if you want to stay up past sundown. The lantern provided only worked for about a minute at a time. Thank you!

Beautiful rustic cabin. Nice campsite with a view of the TX longhorns. Host is friendly with a nice dog named Rosie. She will bring firewood if you ask.
Only thing to note is the long gravel driveway. Not very motorcycle friendly but we made it without a problem.

Beautiful area off the river looking at the longhorns on the opposite side. The walk to the full river acces isn't far. We enjoyed two and a half sunny days on the river and one partial rainy day. Shallow and deeper areas is the river. Perfect for our 3 dogs and us to lounge with our chairs in the river with our cooler. Cows fence is electric. Two of our dogs got a little zap. It was a good detterant for them. Carmen and Bob were so nice! They came to say hi when we arrived and stopped by to see how things were going a couple of days later. We will stay again! The cabin is simple and cozy. We didn't stay there but we peeked inside. The outhouse / shower is great!

We loved the adorable cabin! Very rustic and still immersed in nature. The cows were amazing to watch and be around. The bathrooms were clean with hot water showers and hooks provided. The firewood was a great deal for $20, lasted us all 4 nights with some left over. It was wonderful to have a grill provided and there were so many cute details in and around the cabin! A short walk to the beautiful river with great skipping rocks and lots of dragon flies. Super close to stores and restaurants. We even spent a day in seaside!

We have camped several times and have loved it every single time. Robert and Carmen are very kind and helpful hosts. The site is beautiful with the river right behind it. It's only minutes from town if you need to resupply at Freddie's or Safeway. Great spot! Highly recommend it!

Phenomenal little gem tucked away along the river. The shower was the best we've had in our trek from San Francisco to Olympic National Park. We had the place to ourselves the second night. Absolute bliss! Thank you, Carmen, for sharing your home with us!

We had a great stay at Robert and Carmen's place.
The weather was perfect and we enjoyed taking day trips to the beach and grilling and hanging out by the fire in the evenings.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Carmen's Cottonwood Canvas site. The site is spacious and grassy, with a beautiful view of the river and the idyllic herd of cows. We enjoyed chatting with Carmen and learning about their Texas Longhorn breeding program. They also generously allowed us to catch crawdads in the river and we had a tasty camp dinner. The pit toilet and shower is a nice touch. We would love to visit again!

We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it. Beautiful to be right by the river. Thoughtfully places tables under the trees. Appreciated having a hot shower and toilet. Easy hop to town or to the coast. But you feel like you're so removed from it all.

This was our second time here, and it was just as peaceful and relaxing as the first. The campsite has everything you need: a fire pit with seats around it, a picnic table, and plenty of trees for shade. The sound of the river nearby is super calming, and the longhorn steers add a really cool vibe to the whole place. Just an all-around great spot. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay camping on the Longhorn farm in Tillamook! The setting was stunning — surrounded by lush green pastures, the peaceful water right at our doorstep, and the most beautiful longhorn bulls to admire.
The camp site itself is thoughtfully set up with picnic tables and a firepit — perfect for evenings under the stars. Watching the Longhorns graze nearby added such a unique, relaxing vibe to the whole experience.
If you’re looking to unwind, enjoy beautiful scenery, and soak in a bit of farm life with all the comforts of a trailer, this spot is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back!

Owners never responded to our messages and the Hostaway app wouldn't display their phone number. Our camp site was picturesque, but the advertised shower wasn't available and there was also no wood available for purchase. We will be requesting a refund.

Great stay ,the long horns was a good touch. Nice to see fisherman on the river in the morning. One of them got their line stuck in the tree, that was pretty funny.

This place is fantastic!! I booked it last second and wow what a wonderful surprise how nice it was. We brought our travel trailer and this please was easy to find, easy to park and beautiful. We were the only ones there which was special but also their land is beautiful. The longhorns roaming around are awesome. They are even playful. It was fun watching them each day. This is right on a stream/ river and it’s peaceful. They have an area to fish which was fun and they have an outhouse with a hot shower! What more could you want. The owners were friendly and even cam and brought us some firewood.
We would def book again.
There is a cabin you can book and we would be interested in that as well. This camping area is big enough for a big group too.

We had a very sweet one night stay in the cabin and can't wait to come back in the summer for some nice weather to enjoy the river! Robert gave us a fresh made sausage for dinner which was awesome and we all had a good time.
