Megan was very welcoming and helpful. Property fun to walk and they have a great pond to swim in. Property was very comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This place was great for our family camping. We enjoyed the river, walking around the farm and picking some berries, and playing around the trampoline and rope swing into the pond!
Megan was really nice too and checked in our arrival, so we felt the warm welcome :)

It was wonderful! Megan was so welcoming and patient with us when we were really late. Such a laid back, awesome place! I wish we would have stayed longer, it was beautiful. There was a great swim spot and at night it was super quiet and you can see so many stars. We came with our three kids and they had a great time, we’d love to come again.

This was one of the best experiences! Megan is a delight to work with and was incredibly welcoming! She made sure we were situated in our spot, gave us a full tour, helped us find the fantastic river swimming hole, and even introduced us to some adorable baby goats. Thank you!!

Beautiful place! Radient welcoming people, happy to share the farm experience. The river is great for swimming! A fun spot by the swimmable pond, swing, trampoline, picnic table, badmitten. The horses are the friendliest I've ever met. Camping is rustic, but fine with good sink /dishwashing setup nearby. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return!!

We were made very welcome right off the bat when we arrived, and enjoyed our stay immensely. There are a plethora of animals- goats galore!- and some lovely handmade goods for sale (raspberry sage goat milk ice cream is a YES from us). Lovely people, lovely property.

Totally amazing experience at Megan’s beautiful farm!!! We stayed 3 nights. It was serene and we had lots of privacy even when other sites on the farm were occupied. The river was the absolute BEST and arriving to find a beautiful deck over the river was incredible! Our group opted to spend a whole day on the farm without leaving at all, just enjoyed the river and our site and it was spectacular. Megan was a great hostess, the amenities like the compost toilet and nearby water were a bonus. Our site had plenty of room for us to spread out. Super convenient location just minutes to GP and an easy drive to Jacksonville etc…I can’t wait to camp here again next time I visit the area. Thank you Megan!!

Campsite was shaded, quiet and spacious. Megan was a lovely host and showed us around. The site was next to the river and the swimming hole was enjoyable. We were made comfortable to walk around and interact with the animals and pick some berries. Our family had a good time at the farm.

It was a pleasure staying here. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable! Megan kindly showed me around, and I got to meet the adorable mousers (cats Sunny and Butters) and their dog friends too. In the morning having a chance to meet some of the others who work or run the farm, despite their busy schedules they stopped to say hi and recommend a quick morning hike.

Sun Spirit Farm was perfect for our needs. Megan was an awesome host she let us play with her baby goats. And a shout out to Patrick, he grows the most perfect organic vegetables thank you to Sun spirit Farm for having us we will see you next spring!

This was a perfect place to stay for the night...Megan was a great host and met us at the gate upon our arrival. She showed us our room a very no frills rustic room in a barn as advertised...the bed was super comfy and we slept great...easy bathroom access.....the property is a working farm with goats and horses...it is an easy walk down to the river...where there is a nice new deck that has been built on a bank overlooking the river.

So excellent, everything was beautiful. So happy we arrived during the day, everything was peaceful and Megan was very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely stay again next time we’re headed through. We should have stayed another night at least :)

My partner and I had a wonderful stay camping here! We just stopped for the night on our way farther north, and it was very worth it. Megan was super helpful and getting set up was very easy. And the location is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful off grid camper with views, fire pits and river solitude (at least in early spring). Megan was quick to respond and easy to communicate with and the location easy to find, access and checkout. I'll definitely return when I am in the area :)

We ended up having to change our plans so we did not stay at Megan's farm, but she was very communicative and helpful while we sorted out our plans. We are looking forward to staying at some time in the future!

we were passing through on the way to washington and had an absolutely amazing stay! the farm is gorgeous with fresh eggs available and lots of animals to pet! we definitely plan on staying here again!

We adored our stay at Sunspirit! Megan was such a friendly and accommodating host. The river and surrounding mountains really make you feel like you’re in an oasis. Great vibes! Will be back.

This is a delightful spot! I loved star gazing at night and birding the next morning. There are some really pretty views of the river. Feels very secluded but you can hear faint traffic at night. The RV was a couple minute walk from the composting toilet. And the road back to the sites is short but rough in places. Cars with low clearance may have issues but my small Subaru did fine. Mattress is thin but super comfy memory foam! I slept so well. Very cozy and restful stay. :) Lovely hosts and cute dogs. Would definitely stay again!

Nice remote area of a working farm right on the Applegate River. We grabbed our coffees and sat on a bench to just stare at the river for a while; mesmerizing and peaceful. Megan made sure we had what we needed. Friendly farm dogs greeted my friendly dog. There were other farm animals as well, but we didn’t have time to visit them; we will next time. They also have also fresh eggs from their chickens. We did some wine tasting at a couple of local wineries and stopped at a local bakery for a treat. We will definitely return. Thank you Megan!

10/10 stay, so sad we only stopped over for the night!
The location is not only gorgeous, the people are also nice and communicative. If you are looking for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere this is definitely the place to go. We could not stop raving about it to our family and are looking forward to coming back!

We have stayed with Megan now on two occasions and we absolutely adore the farm! The people are kind and generous, the animals are friendly, and the dogs are plentiful!! The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and we have always felt so welcomed and right at home. The straw bale room is just perfect--it is clean, cozy, and has everything you need (but bring your own paper towels and garbage bag)!! If moving to the farm were an option, the kids and I would sign up in a heartbeat;) You are sure to love your stay as much as we have! Enjoy!!

We stayed four nights and it was lovely. My kids had a blast checking out the farm. Camp was nice. Megan and all at Sun Spirit are beautiful people and welcoming into their idyllic farm life. It was cold of course in March but the platforms helped. We spent a ton on wood but it all helps the folks there. Hope to return! Different camping experience than a forest campground but unique and special.

I had a fantastic stay and attribute much of that to the kindness of the folks on the farm. Megan was a great host - instantly responsive and very helpful. Brian gave amazing tips on improving my plans to be much more scenic and fun. And the campsite it self was great: the covered tent sites were critical in not only keeping my tent dry (it is Oregon), but also had enough space on my elevated platform to hang out with my dog and watch the fog and clouds over the hills in almost every direction.
This location was great for me as a pitstop between Portland and San Francisco, and is definitely on my list to return to - maybe when it's a little more dry.

Such an incredible location and Megan was a lovely host! The farm was very peaceful and perfect for our needs. We were able to have a campfire and loved falling asleep to the sounds of the creek behind the campsite. Will definitely come back if we are in the area!

Megan was a very kind and accommodating host, and the farm is located in a beautiful location, close to many hikes.
Plus, the covered tent platforms were perfect for keeping us dry during our rainy weekend visit! Overall, a lovely place to stay if you're in the area!
