Dogs not allowed in yard as listed
29 ft Class C · With pets
Cons: Width of the space was a bit narrow to open our 2ft pop out and open the front door. Length-wise it was great!
We booked this spot because the listing advertised that it was dog friendly with a yard we could use, as long as our dogs were friendly. When I booked the space, I listed that we have three dogs with us. They happily accepted our reservation and took $100 per night, however when we arrived, we were told that they had an issue with another occupant so they were no longer allowing dogs in their yard. We feel that since they accepted our reservation, they should have allowed us to use the yard as they advertised in their HipCamp listing, or give a discount or some sort of accommodation. We all attempted to be creative with the lack of space inside the RV but with it raining non stop, cranky kids and anxious dogs that couldn’t move about, we had to leave one day early due to our RV being cramped. 3 dogs and 3 children, 2 adults with it down-pouring rain, it was impossible to move around. This was the most disappointing thing about our stay. We told one of the owners we wouldn’t have chosen their spot if we knew that our dogs could not get out and be free for a while each day in their yard.
I sent a text to the owner to tell them we were leaving just and they still have not responded.
The water faucet leaked. We just filled up instead of hooking up.
Pros:
Host responsive to our questions and they allowed my niece to park in front
20 minute walk to activities
