This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty. Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the ceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon. The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides. The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places. Currently there is one vintage trailer available. By next spring there will be additional camping sites and RV sites also available. The Poplar Nook is a 16 foot vintage travel trailer located in the back yard of a residence and next two a second (residential) trailer. Poplar Nook has a double bed plus a single loft bed, a small kitchen and dining table, partial solar electricity and gas appliances, well water and a composting toilet. A shared shower is available upon request as well as a nearby large common room. There is a fire pit for use during the wet season and a small outdoor table for dining. This is a working farm and there are chickens, so be aware there might be an early wake up call by our friendly rooster. There is creek access and swimming spots in the summer. There are hiking trails both on the property and near by, please inquire for directions!

Our second stay!
This was our second time staying with Sarah. She is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The trailer is comfy and well appointed with all the necessities for restful sleeping and simple meal prep. Good location for exploring the Ashland area or passing through to/from California. A great value for the price!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
I loved my stay on Sarah’s land in this sweet little trailer. It’s such a beautiful space and was the perfect peaceful get away. Being able to go across the way and take a dip in the creek was such a treat. Sarah herself was so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this spot

The trailer was cute and Sarah was very accommodating and kind. It’s a beautiful area to stay, conveniently right outside of Ashland. If you’re comfortable in a farmstead setting, this place is perfect. Would return and recommend to others!

Tabitha sits on a gorgeous piece of land with big trees and birds and a couple of sweet resident cats. It's very quiet and tranquil. We loved walking across the road to the creek; we spend a lovely hour dipping our toes in the water and listening to the birds. I slept so well in Tabitha's very comfortable bed; I'd recommend this place to anyone who values simplicity and beauty. Sarah is a kind, generous host.
