Ideal for backpackers
Pros: great location in Portland near public transport, cafes, bars, parks, etc.; tent site was well-shaded; central campfire area with comfy chairs, camp-fire, picnic tables and string lights was very welcoming and fostered hanging out with fellow campers; host was friendly.
Cons: toilet is a porta potty up the alley that requires a key to access (it was clean and well-stocked but still suboptimal to have to have to grab the key and walk down the street each time); parking is the next street over- street parking seemed safe but if you're used to parking at your site it's a bit of a schlepp to not have the car nearby.

Camping in the garden
Lovely little micro orchard and garden right in the middle of a cool neighborhood in Portland! The hosts were super sweet, friendly. We hung out around the fire in the evening. There is fruit galore and plenty of nice spots to pop up a little tent. Love the fire pit/ chill area. Dominque was sharing with me their plans for the near future to put up a cool dome spot too. Looking forward to that! I will be back for sure.

This is “the sweet spot” in town
This is indeed a quaint and magical getaway spot even for us locals! It’s one of those “word of mouth” type spots where you feel so special that you happened to be “in the know”! From start to finish, the experience was A+. Detailed and simple instructions were left prior to stay making the experience come with flow and ease. There are many little tuck spots amongst the orchard providing sacred space for each camping group. Dominique and his family were more than welcoming leaving me uplifted and inspired to be a part of their family vision and I hope to visit again and see how their vision has grown! Amazing location very close to Hawthorne and Richmond. Dom’s place is a quiet little oasis lined with fragrant fruit trees, definitely a hidden gem. We came in super late around 11pm and it was no problem the site was well lit and the ground was very flat and comfortable, a perfect set up for our tent. An amazing fire pit with provided chairs made for a fun evening under the stars. It was exactly what we were looking for! We even chose to extend our stay for an extra night.
