Lots of space to pull in. Robin communicated with us and was very helpful. Bill was there to greet us at the driveway to make sure we didn’t miss it. He also very helpfully guided us as we left the next morning so that we weren’t in danger of being hit by someone driving fast over the blind hill near their property. Very sweet people. We had a quiet safe stay.

we enjoyed our short stay at site 1 in turner oregon. we are new campers and this site was easy to get in and out of. robin was not there this time but bill stepped in and made us feel at home and helped out when needed. we will be back if we ever pass through the area again.

I love the quiet country side area. I'm here for the senior softball tournament weekend. Robin and her husband are great people to communicate with very easy get along. I would definitely pick the place again.

Overall it was ok but at the end if my stay I was having an issue with my coach batteries and I needed some extra time to get it fixed. The owner was fine at first but when it took longer she threatened to call the police on me and was very rude. Even after I kindly explained the situation and how it was out of my hands but as soon as it was fixed I’d be in my way. There was no one else expected to be coming in and I even offered to pay for that night before she decided to threaten me

These hosts were sooo great! Very friendly but not “in your face” either. Just right ❤️ Nicely placed just a little more than a mile and change off I-5 but still idyllic country setting. I have a 36’ motorhome and toad and made turn in and out of level gravel drive to sites no problem. Pad is gravel and plenty wide for opposing slide-outs although site is a bit sloped front to back so be prepared to level. Plenty of room to back in or pull out of space (your choice) and drop/hook toad. Good amount of overhead sun for solar folks but some trees farther on western side help with late afternoon heat. I had to fly out of state and felt very comfortable leaving my RV here for my week-long business trip during my 13-day stay.
Would recommend highly if you need to be in Salem or Portland area!

We were there in early spring so there weren't leaves on all the oak trees we saw on the way to the property. They gave the drive in from I-5 the look of Mr Toad's Wild Ride. The site is great. Its a private, quiet place owned and run by very experienced RV'ers. Robin's husband came out to talk for a bit. It was a perfect place for our needs: we were just travelling through on our trip from Washington state to Arizona, staying one night. There was a great trail fairly nearby, the Skyline Trail. We had a nice walk. Make sure to connect with the owners by text or phone prior to arrival.

This place was perfect for us. We just needed a safe and quiet place to pull over and sleep for the night. It's a very pretty location that feels out in the country but it was very easy to get to from the freeway. We enjoyed it and the hosts were kind and accessible.

Fantastic hosts with a beautiful spot close to Salem. There’s a lovely garden, fresh cool water, and a perfect spot for a hammock. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. We’d love to come again!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was nice and quiet and very close to Salem. They were very helpful and friendly and generous. The baby goats next door were very cute. It also was a great value! We would stay here again.

The hosts were very communicative and cordial. The location is lovely and we felt very safe. During our stay there was some road noise but it didn’t bother us and the location suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely recommend these hosts.

It was convenient and right off the highway. It was very quiet and the owners stayed in the RV next to us. They were very nice and grated us when we arrived. It was really really quiet and we felt like we had to whisper. Maybe not the best place if you have kids. There is also two big Pyrenees that are guarding the sheep in the next yard over. They would bark at anything that moved lol . This would be a good place if you don’t have kids and need a quick overnight spot off the highway.

This is a lovely and (pleasantly) basic RV site. Perfect location for Albany and Salem regions, wine country, and bicycling. The area’s charming boutique farms make for a nice neighborhood walk; say “hi” to the cows, goats, horses, birds, and abundant wildlife. The camp hosts are fellow RVers and offer a warm welcome to their guests.

Robin was an exceptional host. This was our 1st time to use Hipcamp, and we did not book until the last minute. She and her husband greeted us at the end of their driveway with flash lights at 10pm to direct us where to park. Their property is conveniently located, yet rural and quiet. We really appreciated her quick response and willingness to accommodate our party of 8 in 2 RV's at the last minute.

RV Happy is a lovely site conveniently located just a few miles off of I-5 near Salem. You'd never know it, though, as it's very quiet. We enjoyed a peaceful evening and our conversation with Robin and Bob. They also had great ideas about hiking and historical areas nearby. We'll have to come back!
