Enjoy the gravel river bar, there are plenty of rocks to catch your eye and may end up in your rock collection or the kids seem too bring home the most rocks. Enjoy aquatic animals in the slough and duck ponds. Explore the 36 acres by foot, you may see one of the many deer, even hear owls at night, and lately there has been eagle's in the area. Bring your own kayaks to explore the slough or take a 3 hour kayak trip to Jefferson. The water is swift for young kids so always where a life jacket when playing next to the water. There is enough room for 2 or 3 campers 30ft apart please contact me before booking if more then 1 camper or tent. This is a very peaceful natural spot. Once you arrive please do not come and go i want to keep traffic to a minimum. Also i do have an older portable toilet, kind of ugly for use onsite away from the camp site, just a short walk or you can drive to it.

Peaceful Riverside Camp
This was the exact type of place we look for with our dog aggressive pups! There were trails around the property we would walk with the dogs off leash and it was an incredibly peaceful riverside camp that was easy to access with our truck and 25 ft camper trailer. Randy text us easy to follow photos to help us find the location easily. We were greeted by the neighbor's puppy (a 9 month old chocolate lab) but the owner had his neighbor come retrieve him promptly upon our request. There were also some gunshots nearby that terrified one of our pups the next morning, but aside from that we had the most wonderful stay and would definitely come back to stay again in the future. This is the type of property we dream of owning someday. Thank you so much for sharing it with us Randy!

Secluded gem by the river!
What a secluded gem! We enjoyed our camper van weekend on Randy’s land, with amazing river access and total seclusion. The river was too fast for swimming but great for wading around the shallows and playing with the dog, especially near the ‘fishing hole’ that Randy shared on the property map. You need to be self contained, although there was an older portapotty not far from the campsite.
This site was perfect for our nervous doggo as we work on getting her used to camping. She had a great time chasing a ball in the grass and trees and splashing in the river. We saw several deer, herons, a bald eagle and a few harmless snakes while hiking around. We’ll definitely be back!

A great trip away!
We loved tent camping at Randy’s! There were ample spots to choose from, but we were right by the river so we could hear it babbling to us each night. The fire pit area right by the water access is very nice and convenient. There were trails available for exploring. It was a great place to get away and we would love to come back. The only drawback were the yellow jackets, who decided to join us on our last day. Just take a trap, or be aware. :) A wonderful hipcamp!!
