Our family "Riverhouse" is one of my favorite places in the world. We use it to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday professional life. The town of Harrisburg is such a cool, easy-going, quaint place to spend some time. Accessibility is one of its' key assets. Harrisburg has a few family owned places to eat at, and a few shops to explore. It's a one light town, but that is why we love it here. The river is my favorite part. I sit for hours on end, watching the water flow by. Fishing, rafting/floating, and wading in the water are all fun things to do here. If you are looking for something just to get off the highway for the night, or for a longer stay, this is a great quiet place to be.  Learn more about this land: This listing is for access to a 50ft. long full hook-up RV pad. This does not include access to the house that sits on the property. Conveniently located off of historic 99 hwy., our property is one of only 12 properties located right on the Willamette River in Harrisburg Oregon. Our vacation home "Riverhouse" has a dedicated RV pad with full electric/sewer/water and WIFI hook-ups that can accommodate up to a 50ft. RV. Enjoy our amazing views of the Willamette river on our 500 sqft. custom Japanese Cedar deck located right on the water. Take a 2 minute walk to downtown Harrisburg and enjoy the local eateries and shops. Float or fish the Willamette River! The best part will be relaxing afterwards, enjoying the postcard sunsets. Also, our location is conveniently located halfway between Eugene and Corvallis for sport venues for the University of Oregon and Oregon State. Then check out "Junkyard Extreme Burgers and Brats", home of the best hamburger in the U.S.A according to Guy Fieri from "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" which is less than two miles down the road.  Whether you are just driving through, or looking for a Zen-like, peaceful setting to get a away for a long weekend, this is the spot. Level, 1 RV spot easily accessed via alleyway. We were visiting friends in Eugene and this was a quiet and convenient overnight stay. Willamet River was across the street. Nice city park 1 block away.

Nice friendly little town. The spot was a great place for sunsets and reading on the deck. We were here in fall and there were no bugs. We did see a pack of river otters right below the house that were fun to watch. Super dog friendly area with people jogging and strolling by. Dog friendly park right doen the street and even a dog bad dispenser less than a block away . Felt safe. Close to stores and the Vu, a nice little pub with good, great selection of beer and cider (didn't try the mixed drinks) and pool tables (free pool on Sundays FYI). Next time we in the area this is out go to spot.

Great location for RV with a Dog!

This spot was exactly as advertised! It had a great spot to back into on the side of the house with gull hook up. The host was not there so it felt pretty private. The Willamette River was right across the street and had a lovely quiet park on the River with tables and a gazebo to enjoy. Our dog had lots of great walks around a quiet neighborhood and along the river. 15 minutes from quaint town of Coburg and 25 minutes from downtown Eugene

This site comes just as advertised - great sunsets with a deck, convenient water/electricity/sewer hookup and a quiet neighborhood in a small town. The river put-in takeout spot is very close - we paddle boarded on the Willamette. We walked to 99 Highway Grill and had a fun dinner. There’s brand new pickleball courts less than a half a mile away.

This is a nice place in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It's across the street from the Willamette River where you can watch hawks and eagles soaring and great sunsets. Full hookups are an added plus. The only negative for me is it's only a couple of blocks away from the railroad tracks for both freight and commuter trains that run all night blowing their horns. If you don't mind train noise then you should enjoy all of the other amenities this location offers.

The location was great, beautiful view of the river, field and the mountains in the distance. The town was nice, great burgers at the 99 grill a 10 min walk away. Electric and water worked as expected, used the offered deck to watch the sunset.

We loved this little spot on the river. It was quiet and peaceful and had amazing views of the Sunsets. We have a class A with slides, it was cozy but my husband was able to park with no problems. We will look forward to staying here again when we visit Harrisburg again!

The location of Chris's property was really great. It was on a very quiet street across from a beautiful river with an amazing sunset. It was a easy walk down to the city park and boat launch area as well as into town to get to restaurants. The trail nearby lead down to the river banks underneath the bridge where it was really fun to enjoy in the water with a slower current.

Lovely, but not for big rigs!

This is a lovely site across from the river, quiet, in a nice neighborhood. Parking for a big rig is very challenging. We have a 35’ 5th wheel with slide outs on both sides and it took perseverance and skill to narrowly back in the site without snagging wires, telephone poles and gutters. We finally did it with an inch or two to spare. This is best for travel trailers, campers and Class C RVs.

This is a beautiful spot with stunning sunset and water views and walkable to swimming, shopping and food. Chris was a wonderful host who was flexible, easy going and got back to us quickly to answer any questions. Our family had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

1. No straight backing into the site as there is a curb right in front and a power pole next to the site makes angling in difficult. 2. A/C right next to the site is noisy and ran throughout the evenings. 3. Optional deck is peeling badly and dirty. Chairs didn't have cushions (straps only) so were not usable and table had bird poop on it. Cleanliness and maintenance totally lacking so this "amenity" a waste. 4. Host didn't provide the WiFi network name (password only) and with 12 that came up it wasn't possible to know which one was the correct one. 5. Learned after arriving that trains run only a couple of blocks away and blow their whistles throughout the night (there were 3 between 1am and 3am for example).

I loved staying here for an easy overnight on my way across the state. The spot was level enough, easy to pull into due to the adjacent alley that made it an easy parallel park. I had a lovely view of the broad slow river across the street. The adjacent street had zero traffic that I detected. I'd highly recommend this location for a campervan overnight.

The spot was easy to get into and the river was right across the street from the house. The water pressure was very good, I actually did have to use our adjustable water pressure regulator to prevent it from going over 50 PSI.

Truly relaxing……

Wow! This small slice of heaven is amazing! We did not want to pull away from Chris’s property the day we left. The spot is located, as pictures indicate, between a small quite ally and his home. Our tip out had an amazing view of the river and phenomenal sunsets every day. Chris offered for us to sit on his deck where we just read and relaxed for most of the days. The neighbors are so friendly, the street is silent and the town is adorable. Backing in the trailer was a breeze with loads of space and the hook ups close. We had happy hour at the Voo, which is a local burger joint, one block away. There is great Chinese and Thai food on the same block so even if you had to stop for the night with no food you are set! In fact next time we go we will not pack anything other than coffee for the mornings. If you like to antique shopping, Coburg is 10 minutes away with 5-6 great shops all located on the same corner with lots to look through. Junkyard Extreme Burgers is 6 minutes away and had 1200 reviews on Yelp and it did not disappoint. All outdoor covered seating so bring a coat! JC Raven Tap house had the nicest staff and was 9 minutes away with great salads and beers on tap. We stayed here as an alternative to staying in Eugene for Homecoming weekend. What a great choice! Close to the school, easy drive and back roads on game day got you right into town with ease. We almost did not want to go in because we did not want to leave the property. I did not enter the WiFi code correctly and Chris was so patient with me as I texted him numerous times about the password not working…..only to find out I was the one who did not enter it in correctly. 🤦‍♀️ What a wonderful spot and such a wonderful host!

We had an amazing time staying in Harrisburg! The RV space was great: it had sewer, water, and electrical hookups as advertised. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard while we used the fire pit. There is a river access park and boat launching area 4 blocks from the space. We waded and enjoyed the Willamette thoroughly. The town of Harrisburg was also great: it had all the essential amenities and was very quiet and friendly. I also want to give a personal thank you to Chris who answered all of our questions super fast and also walked us through a small SNAFU that we encountered with our electrical hookup. THANK YOU!! We will be back for sure! If you’re looking for a little slice of Small Town Oregon, stay here! I’d also recommend seeing the covered bridges in the area: there are several within a 50 mile radius.

The host was super helpful with directions and wifi access. They offered their deck to watch the sunsets, but our motor home had a perfect view from the couch. The site is clean and easy to access, and the hookups were super close.

This is a wonderful spot for a relaxing stay. I parked a 33ft trailer there via the alley entry (my rig was a little long for back in at my skill level but the alley turned it into a pull through!) The hosts helped with any questions. We were able to use the yard for the kids and the dog and spent alot of time looking at the beautiful view. We can't wait to return.

Just what we needed

This site was the perfect quiet getaway. From the start, Chris was very friendly and gave us all the info we needed to get set up when we arrived. The site itself is narrow, but the front yard and deck provided more than enough space for my husband, baby daughter, golden retriever and I to spread out, play and relax. At night, the property was quiet and secure. The neighbors were so friendly, too, which was an added bonus. All the hookups worked great. We’re full time RVers, so we were looking for exactly this over the holiday weekend. The property was about three blocks to river access and not crowded. We would love to come back!
