Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Welcome to Picaflores, a peaceful retreat tucked into the beautiful McKenzie River Valley on Horse Creek. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape, a camping adventure, or a place to gather with friends and family, Picaflores offers a unique blend of nature, comfort, and creativity. One of the highlights of your stay is the property's river access, reserved exclusively for your group. It's an easy walk from camp to the river, where you can relax by the water, cool off on warm days, or simply enjoy the sounds of the McKenzie Valley. Another walk will bring you to a public river area where the current is less swift and you are able to swim. Alongside the river access, you and your group with be provided with an outdoor kitchen, bathhouse, and sauna! This space will not be shared with other guests during your time here. Indigenous Folk Art inspires the magic of Picaflores Treasures from Egypt, Turkey, Peru, the Amazon Jungle, Mexico, Guatemala, and Indonesia interplay with the Cabin, Yurt, Sauna, and Gardens. Being here is close to the wild and natural wonders of the Oregon Cascades Rain Forest, affording the best clean water and air found on the greener places of Mother Earth. Come and Enjoy!Guests have access to a camp kitchen (please bring your own cutlery and cookware), bathhouse, electric sauna, shared fire ring, and designated camping areas. There's plenty of room for tents, vans, and RVs, with parking available for rigs up to 45 feet. Please enjoy the shared fire ring responsibly and never leave a fire unattended. Picaflores is inspired by Indigenous folk art and the spirit of travel. Throughout the property you'll find handcrafted treasures collected from Egypt, Turkey, Peru, the Amazon, Mexico, Guatemala, and Indonesia, blending beautifully with the yurt, gardens, and surrounding forest. The result is a peaceful, eclectic space that feels both grounded and inspiring. Surrounded by the lush Oregon Cascades rainforest, you'll experience some of the cleanest air and purest water anywhere. Spend your days exploring nearby trails, fishing, relaxing by the river, or simply unwinding beneath the trees before ending the evening around the campfire or relaxing in the sauna. We welcome well-behaved dogs! A $25 pet fee applies to each reservation. We ask that all dogs remain under their owner's control, are never left unattended on the property, and that owners clean up after them using the trash receptacle outside the camp kitchen. Whether you're planning a solo retreat, a family camping trip, or a small group gathering, Picaflores is a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the magic of the McKenzie River Valley.
