Not at all like discribed. Small space, far from the beach and small entrance. Poor directions and lacks having a camp host near bye. I will not recommend this site to anyone.

We had a great experience with a beautiful ocean view right from our windows, but this may not be the site for everyone. There's quite a bit of road noise from the 101 and a public path that runs right in front of the campsite.

Great, convenient location. Loved the sound of the ocean at night and the fire pit in the Grove. The ravens were sooo talkative! The privacy was exceptional.

I’m going to preface this by saying we stayed here with a 2-year-old, 7-month-old and our dogs for 4 nights. This would be a great spot for someone just passing through. It is a BEAUTIFUL spot right across the ocean with a trail leading down to the beach. It is difficult to get into, but you definitely don’t have to back in from the 101. It was nice to have the fire pit, electric and water. We paid $8 to dump in Waldport (I know they say there’s a free one in Newport, we just wanted to get it done quick). It isn’t a private site. What we didn’t realize was there’s a walking trail that runs through the site. We had probably 20 different people a day with dogs come through the site. This was ok at first, but got annoying. I do NOT recommend this site to anyone with kids being that the 101 is right there and random people walking the trail that runs through the site.

This site is not what the pictures show. The site is immediately off the highway and the spot in front of the camper is their driveway to their house, which looms over the RV site. Even the fire pit has a cabin looking right over your site. There is zero privacy unless you are inside your camper. The pictures make it look like a private spot close to the beach which it's not a private spot and the beach is over the highway. Backing into the site is death defying when coming off the highway. All around I'm confused by the 100% review rate, when the description is far from accurate. They won't even consider a refund if you can't use the site. We ended up at a campsite for the night and it was much more private. Save your money, not even close to worth 100 a night.

Easy to find right on the 101! Watch the waves crashing to shore as you have morning coffee in your RV. No one else around. Nice pond next door full of frogs to sing you to sleep. Very private. Perfect overnight stop on our trip down the coast

Great location as far as proximity to the beach and cute little beach shops and coffee shops. Not quite as much privacy as I was hoping for, but not a big deal. The hookups worked great and we had no problem setting up. It's a little bit tight if you are bringing a full-size pickup truck and a travel trailer that is around 20 ft. Long or bigger. Took me a couple tries to do a U-turn and back the trailer into the appropriate spot.
I don't know that I would call it a complaint, but it's probably worth noting that there is a pond right next to this camping area. This spring. It appears there is a lot of frog activity, because it's about the loudest I have ever heard frogs in my life, haha. It was cool but did keep me up a little bit at night since I'm a light sleeper.

Great spot with easy access to a very quiet section of beach. We absolutely loved the fire area with the fairy lights, smores for the kids and a couple of cold beers made for a memorable evening! We have a 19ft trailer towed by an F150, anything significantly longer might get a little interesting on maneuvering into the space. Any minor fears we had regarding being close to 101 we ill founded, road was very quiet at night. Directions from the south were absolutely spot on!

Awesome spot - right across from the beach. You can hear the ocean and the beach is a short walk away. The internet connection is great. We loved this space due to its central location and the fact that it’s quiet at night and the trees isolate you from wind. There is a bit of highway noise but it calms down at night and to be honest, if you want to be near the ocean, you’re going to have highway noise most places on this area of the coast.
The spot is very clean and it has a really nice campfire area. We didn’t have a fire because we noticed some of the campgrounds had campfire bans in place so we weren’t sure fires were ok on private land.
The spot itself is a little interesting to get into - we have a 30 foot 5th wheel with a long bed pickup and my husband is very good at maneuvering it in tight spots, but a smaller truck and trailer or motorhome would have an easier time getting backed in.
Leah was super friendly and easy to contact. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting a private space near the beach! Just be careful if you have a large RV and be sure you know how to maneuver it.
