Some things I personally struggled with:
Portapottys must have had fresh deodorizer discs just placed. I could smell it from our site.
The step up to/foundation for the shower is rickety. Looked like an old wooden pallet. The rubber mat placed over it conceals the fact that it's not stable.
We spent a good chunk of time searching our site for a rogue dog poo that someone must have chucked in the shrubs and at 92 degrees this illusive turd would surprise our nostrils throughout the day.
If you don't have smell sensitivity, you enjoy hearing the moo's of cows throughout the night and pay good attention to detail, you'll be content with this spot.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the sound of cows, deodorizers, or a simple dog turd, I just felt this might be helpful in case anyone out there is as sensitive as I am to these things.
Lastly, I paid for wifi and never did see where the password is listed. I stumbled upon it written on a whiteboard near potty.
it may have been in the email sent to me, but I didn't have Wi-Fi to access it once we arrived.

Very nice campsite! We got in late but it was overall still great being by the water. We took a nice hot shower, and restrooms were close. It was nice and quiet and everyone was friendly as we drove in.

Easy to book, easy to communicate, easy to locate! Nice tent spot right along the Mollala River. So many birds! Osprey, songbirds, owls, rooster, and (not birds) the running of the bats as it turned dark! Funny-sounding bullfrogs at night. Peaceful location for a quick getaway with places to hike nearby.

Fantastic tent camping experience by the river! The site was clean and clear and while there were several other sites nearby, my 5 year old and I were able to have peace and quiet. River is super shallow and a dream for kids and dogs. Didn’t use the showers but glad they exist. Will stay again!

We spent two days at this campsite and couldn't have asked for a better escape from the summer heat. We stayed at Site 8, which is the last campsite and furthest from the river access, but the walk down to the water wasn't long at all and we actually loved the extra seclusion it provided. The campsite itself was well-maintained and level. The facilities were clean, and the river shack with charging stations made it so I could still connect for work when needed while the kids played in the river.

Although we had a big group, we all had a great time on Sam's accommodating campsite. There was a lot to do on the water, the campsite was large, and there was clean water extremely close to camp. I would recommend the spot to anyone looking to have a great time by the river!

Such a treasure to have found this little piece of heaven so close to home. Our daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday with a family camp out and site #5 didn’t disappoint! We all absolutely loved it! The hot tub was such a special treat after playing in the water!
The host took great care of us. Even stopped by to give our daughter a birthday treat and when he found out that I forgot my purse at home he went above and beyond and gave me an EpiPen to have on hand (I’m allergic to bees) just in case. There weren’t bees when we were there, but it was reassuring knowing I had an option just incase. Also, I usually get bitten up by mosquitoes and despite being on the water had zero issues with bugs which was such a pleasant surprise.
Only criticism to offer is— they have a paddle boat to borrow (super fun!) but the steering didn’t work and the river pulls you far quite quickly so we ended up having to jump out and push it back because it just wouldn’t steer properly and we were stuck going in circles. Otherwise it was a 10 out of 10!

We had a great time camping here with a group of ten, everything is clearly very well thought out with lots of amenities available and the river is beautiful and peaceful. Everyone in our group who spoke with the owner of the land said he was a great guy and very chill although I myself didn't get a chance to speak with him.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back! Spot was absolutely lovely and our “extras” were on site when we arrived. It was nice to hear the river and the rooster and an occasional (at night when still) cow. The lit signage, the Edison lights, our extras being all set up are little things that made the stay special. We had questions about the dog park, host came in and talked to hubby. Super helpful. Important to note size restrictions. Many spaces are small but very quaint and beautiful. There are a few overhead obstacles so truck campers need to exercise caution, and the roads are very narrow so experienced driving is required. Read Sam’s notes about property!!! We had no issues in this regard, but other campers had some trouble.

So glad I decided to book a few nights at Molalla Ripple - the views were amazing but the campground itself was perfect. When I arrived the space was clean and ready for me to get set up quickly. With my dog in tow, she had plenty of space to roam on her lead without getting in anyone’s way. The host was extremely kind and attentive and you can tell their team (and family) are passionate about providing a space for everyone to have what they need. We’ll be back again, no doubt!

I think the location is great, the river is epic, but a few areas for improvements. The bathrooms were awful. Each pottipotty was filled to the brim and two of the three ran out of toliet paper by the end of the weekend. None had hand santizer either. Also, I messaged well in advanced to ask if there was a steep driveway and you confirmed there wasn't, but there was and I had a bit of trouble towing uphill with my load which had I known there was a steep hill I would have easily brought a different vehicle. I would have also liked to know when quiet hours were because it was very, very loud in the common area until quite late at night. Nice spot, but some improvements would be appreciated.

My friend wanted to go camping for her birthday but we only had time over an overnight trip. This was the perfect place for us. An hour away from Portland and when she forgot her airmattress, a quick hop over to local store to pick one up. But when we were at our camp site, if was so peaceful with nice distance and folliage between camp sites. We watched the deer come down to drink in the water, the bats take flight as night came on and then an abundance of birds to wake you up. If you don't want to be up with the birds, I recommend wearing earplugs, which I put on at 5am so that I could sleep in. Brought home some beef from their farm and looking forward to cooking it up today for Father's Day dinner.

Quite an enjoyable time! My wife, 2 kids and dog stayed 2 nights at site 7 and liked it quite a bit. Sites were well kept as were the ports potties. All was as advertised so no surprises. The sound of the river at night was great. We’re plenty of others there, including many kids, but it was still enjoyable. All sites use one entrance to river which was fine. River was rocky and fairly shallow at that section so you had p/down river some to get waist deep or deep enough for kids to fully dip. Ordered firewood in advance which was waiting for us when we arrived. Site was dusty; would pay for hay if we go again. Sites get afternoon sun; didn’t go too late as trees on other side of river produced shadows before it fully set. The cows close by were a nice side distraction for our kids. All in all, nice place. Kudos to the owners/maintainers!

Clean site although ours was filled with Hay which was not expected... Responsive owner. Nice and private space which was perfect. I could hear the highway just a bit but wasn’t too bothersome. The closest porta-potty to us was pretty gnarly and didn’t have any hand sanitizer/soap in there which I don’t love.

Spent two days at the campsite and had a wonderful time. Scenery was beautiful and I thought the campsites were spread apart far enough that nobody was in each other's way. You're right on the river which is nice. Staff was very hands off yet acknowledged messages rather quickly and got back to you very fast. We ended up going with the hot tub the second night and it's not something you would regret it's well worth spending the money. Would definitely recommend this place to other campers.

The sites were clean and well-maintained. The firepit and picnic tables were great. It was very relaxing with the sounds of the river. We saw a beaver swimming across the river and a bald eagle flew over us. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot.
