Our stay a the Tiny House with a View was great! This would definitely be considered glamping, you really don't have to pack much. There were tons of amenities including a comfy loft bed, wifi, coffee left for us in the morning, a charcoal grill, composting toilet, drinking water, and a shower. The Tiny House is located on the outskirts of Salem about 3 miles from Independence. It is nestled perfectly between farmland and wineries that scatter the Willamette Valley.
Jeannie was an amazing host, she was extremely easy to communicate with and was always available to help if we needed it. We talked to her about her organic apple farm located in Stayton (ask her about her cider-making classes and Apple CSA) and she told us all about her property and it's close proximity to many activities. She mentioned Rogue Brewery, the Waterfront Park in Independence, Kayaking on the Willamette River, the Three-Legged Dog Pub House, Ankeny Wildlife Refuge and the Independence Disk Golf Course.
The view from the deck was beautiful at sunset and as we walked through the micro-farm we were able to check out the vegetation growing in the raised boxes and the small greenhouse. It was a quaint and quiet spot, exactly where you want to go to get some peace of mind. We will definitely be back to this little piece of heaven.
