Goats and wonderful hosts
Julie's working farm was a delightful experience. Midway between Crater lake and Bend it was a lovely low key space to camp.

We had so much fun here! Lots of space to choose where we wanted to camp. The hosts were super friendly and communicative. We even had the opportunity to watch the goats get milked, bottle feed baby goats, and we were even gifted some homemade goat milk soaps!

Julie is a gem. Very friendly, quick with communication and answered questions I had. Property is large and quiet. Did not have any doubts or regrets for a moment. Lovely dogs and the goats are kinda funny to hear bleating at random. Would stay again next time I pass through

We were treated like family and could even use amenities inside the house. The farm adds a certain charm to the place. They were such nice people to meet and talk to! The place might seem a bit dry for a tent but there's plenty of room for one and several spots for car camping or even some RVs.

Julie's property is a great option for solo travelers! Julie is so kind and welcoming! Her property is everything you need for a safe and cozy night of sleep on your adventure through the area (you will be staying on a working farm with goats, cows, and chickens - if you don't mind the occasional noises of the animals, it makes for a fun camping experience!) The campsite is nestled in a wooded area and has an out house on site. Mosquitos were out, but not a problem with repellent. There are a couple of very sweet and respectful farm dogs that may come visit you at your campsite. If you have the time, I recommend taking Julie up on her soap making lesson offer - It was such a unique and fun experience to see the whole process from milking the goats to soap making! I will definitely be staying again if I find myself passing through in the future.

Comfy camping and cute animals
This is a really cute place. The people and dogs are super friendly and the goats are incredibly cute. Lots of camping spots to pick from and it feels like you’re in the forest surrounded by trees. Only downside was the presence of mosquitos, so bring bug spray. Thanks Julie!

Baby goats, cows, dogs and more
We stopped at Julie's place on our way to Lake Tahoe. We were looking for a last-minute place to pitch a tent for the night. Julie was very accommodating and precise with the verbal directions. My connection was perfectly fine and Google maps took us straight there. We saw BABY GOATS and a BABY COW. They were adorable and we even got to pet them. We came off-season, so the snow has just melted and the ground was wet but we were able to find a nice location away from the farm but close enough to hear the dogs. They got quieter as the night got deeper. But if you are afraid of dogs or just can't stand barking then look for someplace else. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great place with amazing hosts!
We had an amazing time on Julie’s farm! Julie and her husband were both very welcoming and it was so interesting to learn more about the farm and the farm animals! The spot we chose was very private and the stars at night were absolutely stunning! We would recommend this place 100% and when we are ever back in this area we will definitely come again!!

Peaceful with delightful goats
Amazing & thoughtful host! This place is great--from the beautiful trees and spacious property to the goats & great host, I recommend this place. My only recommendation for campers is to bring warm clothes & camping gear because it gets cold at night.

Goats, bulls, soap, and good times!
We had a great stay after visiting crater lake. Julie was a wonderful host and the goats made for a lot of entertainment. Plenty of room for the camper van and spreading out. Don't forget to walk back to the old wagon tracks! Thanks Julie!

Goats Galore!
Julie was a very kind and hospitable host! We was a great communicator and made sure to meet us and show us around the farm when we arrived. We were greeted by her 2 large dogs and new puppy, then toured the farm to see her chickens and many goats! They were adorable. We only stayed one night in our van and she basically gave us choice of where we wanted to park. We had a porterpotty and fresh water available. She even let us use the shower and toiket in thr house if we wanted. Overall, it was a great experience!

Fun farm with campsites
Great little dairy farm with fun goats, chickens dogs, cats and more. Spaces for tents are scattered and no problem parking. Very nice host makes the stay enjoyable. A little rough around the edges but overall works great for camping stopover.

Best yet
I loved meeting Julie! What fun it was seeing her baby goats and chickens! She was extremely helpful and very communicative. She truly cared about us as her campers and made us feel so welcome. We cannot wait to get back down to the farm to explore more of what bend had to offer and the Pauline lake area. About the farm: it’s flat easy driving and well patrolled by her two anti-predator farm pups. There are many goats and the sounds and smells to go along with (we didn’t mind it at all it smelled like a sweet clean farm). There are two roosters which we also have at our home....but some ear plugs maybe a great addition for those light late sleepers. We did camp right next to the goats and chickens so that was totally on us! She has plenty of acres to get some distance which we will do the next time but regardless it was incredibly enjoyable and comfortable.
