Centrally located in the Foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range between Portland and Salem, "Elk Falls Outdoor Recreation Retreat" is a small, private, "ADULT ONLY" (minimum of 21 years) outdoor recreation Retreat that provides the general Public with all Aspects of outdoor recreation Activities and Pursuits.. This isolated and remote Outdoor Retreat will provide the quiet, peaceful and semi private outdoor recreation Experience you're looking for. Currently there are three outdoor recreation Permits available. Recreation Permits allow access to forty Acres of private timberland Property for outdoor recreation Activities including, but not limited to, Hunting, Fishing, r/v Parking, dispersed Camping, Hiking, Bicycling, Horseback riding, Swimming and Nature watching. Enjoy Time spent at a forty foot Waterfall that flows into a damned swimming Hole and fishing Pond. The swimming Hole and Pond is accessible by a short Walk from the end of the access Road. Direct Access is also available to hundreds of Acres of Port Blakely Tree Farm Property. Ask about sportsmans Discounts with Proof of valid Oregon hunting and fishing Licenses. The Molalla River Corridor, Table Rock Wilderness Area and Silver Falls State Park are all close by.

Recreation Permit #1 allows access to forty Acres of private Timberland for all outdoor recreation Activities mentioned in the property Description, including r/v Parking and dispersed Camping. To accommodate equal Space for all permit Holders at the Waterfall, recreation permit #1 is assigned to the front Area, which is the closest to the Waterfall, just behind the shared "Community Space". The "Community Space" is shared by all permit Holders. Everyone is encouraged to spend Time in this Area, closest to the Waterfall. A primitive Table and Seats made from cut log Rounds are at this Area. Access to the Waterfall is about a 250 yard Walk from the End of the access Road. The last 80 Yards is down a medium Grade Hill. Please read the Rules for the Property. To make sure they can be adhered to. This is an Adult only Retreat. No Dogs, no one under 21 Years of Age and no more than four People for each Permit. Pallets and Home cut Firewood is NOT ALLOWED. Store bought, prepackaged Firewood is only allowed onto the Property. This is to protect the Property from invasive Insects and Disease.

We absolutely loved at our stay on Clint's land by the waterfall! It feels like you're in a hidden little magical ravine. It felt clear to me that Clint treats the land with a lot of respect and reverence - please follow his guidelines to help in taking good care of this little oasis.

Wonderful and magical place to be. Pack light or bring a wagon. It's a hike and incline to go to and from the campsite. Well worth it thought! The water was cold but we jumped in anyway and had a blast. Stargazing is a must!

Had an excellent time dispersed camping at this sportsman retreat! Options for bike riding, rv, fishing, or dispersed camping all throughout the property. Please respect the rules so that we can all continue to enjoy this wonderful spot:)

The site is nothing short of beautiful. The waterfall is jaw dropping. Clint is friendly, very helpful - even offered to help us take our gear down to camp near the waterfall, and flexible. We loved our stay.

I actually did not stay there because the weather was forecasted to be near 100 degrees. But Clint was very communicative. Sad to say, but we forfeited to nights of camping fees but 100 is a bit hot for me. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it again.

This was one the most magical, beautiful places I have ever visited. Clint was extremely hospitable, and made sure we had everything we needed. My best friend and I had the most relaxing, healing night spent in nature. We couldn’t believe how gorgeous the waterfall was, our jaws dropped when we saw it. We felt so lucky to be able to explore the fall and swim in the natural pool of water. The water is pretty cold, but crystal clear. Clint also has a canoe tied up that you can take into the water if swimming isn’t your thing. Thank you thank you Clint! We will be seeing you again!

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were magical. It’s a very special, beautiful place and Clint is the best host! I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful place to reset away from the city. It’s car camping but gives the feel of backpacking with a little hike down to the sites. By far the best Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at!

This is a truly magical place that should be cherished and respected by all! I am so thankful to have spent a night by the waterfall, deep in the woods. Being so immersed in nature, far from busy roads or people, is hard to find these days. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to do some inner reflection, disconnect from the wild world we’re in, or just connect back to nature; to you!

What a beautiful campground. Everything was perfect. Water was cold but definitely didn’t stop us from swimming around like river fairies. Clint was a wonderful/helpful host. 10/10 will be back again!

Clint was great. Sorry accommodating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. Super grateful he shares this lol lee slice of paradise w the people. Unfortunately, as soon as I arrived I wasn’t able to really take a dip because the dam had broke the day before so it was very shallow water but, he was able to fix it and it was filled back up quickly, and was all good the next day and deep enough for swimming. Definitely would go back. Just pls respect this man’s land so he can continue to share with the public.

This spot is so special! It’s a forest oasis with a waterfall perfect for playing mermaids if you don’t mind the cold water. There are several small extra touches that make the whole thing feel special, the homemade wooden tables and chairs, the wildflower bouquets, and the canoe to float around in the waterfall pool being just some of them.

Waterfalls and Wildflowers

What a place! Everywhere we looked, the forest was bursting with life. Ferns, foxglove, daisies, thistle, and even wild salmonberries we tried. The flowers looked like something out of a fairytale meadow. We had a great time and slept comfortably in our tent with the sounds of the creek/falls. The waterfall was the highlight, we spent hours there and even spotted a rainbow in the mist. There’s a special kind of energy here. It felt grounding, healing, and honestly just joyful. The site was clean, comfortable , and thoughtfully cared for by Clint.

We had a relaxing couple days at this location, the waterfall was immaculate especially to listen to while going to sleep. The area was clean and the compost bathroom was very well maintained. We appreciate Clint for sending out the expectations prior to arriving to the camp. He checked in on us quite a bit and it was greatly appreciated. Super cool dude. It’s a secluded location which is hard to come by and only 3 recreation set ups for tents. So even if there’s other campers it’s still low key. We got lucky with no other campers during our last night and had the place to ourselves. We would definitely return 😊 thanks Clint!

This place is a hidden gem out in the deep forest with a beautiful serene waterfall and swim hole. The host clint was so welcoming and made sure our camping trip was memorable. I would definitely recommend if your looking for secluded and peaceful.
