This is my second time staying here and had a wonderful experience again.
The area is set up very nicely – two sites facing away from each other, each with a nice grass area and just a very comfortable place. Host is great.
Would definitely stay here again!

Do you remember how delightful it is to walk barefoot on a cool, green lawn? Well, you'll be able to reminisce on the beautiful, green grass that abuts Lot 1 (Doe) at Chester's Hipcamp.
Additionally, there is a BBQ, fire pit and water, electricity and sewer hookups at the site. Do remember to bring a 'dogbone' adapter if you have a 30amp shore power line.
Conveniently located 5 or so miles from Smith Rock State Park, the site is both quiet and not too far from Redmond.

Quiet neighborhood of paddocks and rocky pastures and widely spaced homes on acreages. The two sites are close to each other but face opposite directions and each have very nice private grassy areas to lounge. Relatively close to Bend. Very nice place to relax.

The site is kept clean, the grass is lush and well kept, the hookups are new with absolutely no problems and the whole experience was enjoyable. Chet obviously takes pride in giving his guests a good and trouble free experience.
The location is great: you’re close to Redmond, Bend, Sisters, Eagle Crest, tremendous golfing, Fort Rock, hiking, fishing and so much more.
We highly recommend this site.

As a pet owner, specifically a dog owner, this site/location just isn't it. The owner greeted us as soon as we got there. He mentioned that he didn't want pets to pee on his lawn. (I received a notice by email stating the same thing and it clearly states this before booking). He was friendly and said he wouldn't water the "lawn" if we, the guests were there. He was there everyday around 10-12. Basically we felt like walking on egg shells because of that "lawn". Not exactly relaxing. This place just wasnt our cup of tea. I strongly recommend going elsewhere if you plan on stepping on lawn, and especially if you have a dog..
They have full hookups but to what price? We will not be returning.

Chester's spot was perfect for our needs for the weekend. The space was easy to find as the instructions were clear. The site is very well maintained, and it was obvious that Chester cares about his guests feeling welcomed and at home. He greeted us upon arrival to walk us through where we could hook up and dump our garbage. There was another guest at the sister site at the same time as us, and yet, it felt as if we were there all alone, as everything was peaceful and quiet. This lot is up against the road, and while the occasional car would come through, it wasn't bothersome. There is a privacy fence that seemed recently built that made it feel extra private. There are horses right across the road, and it was cool to watch them and listen to them make their noises. The grass was perfect to put bare feet in. There was a BBQ grill on site, which we did not use, but would have had we been around for dinner time. The location feels remote and yet was close enough to the town and the event that we were there to attend. We would totally visit this spot again.

Very quite! Awesome view of the stars. Host is very nice and personable. For 110 volt campers it is a 20 amp servive 220 volt there is a 50 amp service.

Great RV spot. Full hookups were wonderful and well placed. Site was private, clean, and large with well maintained green grass. Site was easy to access and reasonably level making setup quick. Make sure you have a 30-50amp adapter of you only have a 30 amp rv. Highly recommend this site or the adjacent site on Chester's land. We will use this camp again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in this area without hesitation! Take care, D & M.

We stayed in Lot #2 as Lot #1 was already booked. We wanted a place to stay that was close to Smith Rock and this fit the bill! An easy drive to Smith Rock and convenient enough to Redmond to go in for a meal.
The sites are right by each other but luckily our neighbor was very quiet so it wasn't an issue. Chet greeted us and showed us to our spot. It's obvious that he has taken care of the sites and it was nice to have garbage disposal available. Site #2 does face a road and the host has built a nice fence to add some privacy.

Our stay at Deer Acres was truly delightful! Chester, our warm and welcoming host, personally escorted us to our site, pointing out the thoughtful amenities that make this Hip camp exceptional. You can tell Chester is an RV enthusiast, as every detail is carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The immaculate desert landscaping created a serene, picturesque setting, and the gentle sounds of nearby horses and roosters added a charming, rustic touch to the tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. I wholeheartedly recommend Deer Acres to anyone looking for a well-crafted, restful camping getaway!

Gorgeous camp site, we’ve stayed in Central Oregon tons of times, this is by far our favorite spot! You can tell Chester takes great pride in making sure everything is well kept! Our host was excellent! We will definitely be back! Thanks for the fresh chicken eggs!

Nice full hookup site. There was not anyone in the other site, so we had the place to ourselves for the 4 nights we were there. We do a lot of boondocking, so having full hookups was a nice change of pace.

Our host has really done a great job creating pull through camp spaces. Perfectly layed out opposing spaces with an island of services between them. BBQ stands, durable hand made fire rings, picnic tables, garbage station - all in excellent condition. Host even provides sewer hose ramp/stands for waste water. Well cared for lawns also! We’re considering setting up our own Hipcamp and this is the example we’l be using when we do so. Absolutely saved as a favorite and if we should travel to/through the area again this is the place we’ll look for.
